Earlier today, Monday December 30th 2024 I walked into the Marshals on hoping to get some last minute shopping done for the new year. From the moment I walked in, the manager at the time Courtney made me feel uncomfortable the entire time I was in the store. He sent staff over to continuously ask me if I needed help so they could watch me roam the isles. After a while he started harassing me himself. He was following me with a shopping cart asking me what I needed, if the cart was mines (even though he was using it to put stuff away) and trialing me down the isles watching me browse the items. When I went to pay for my items, one of his own staff warned me to be mindful of my surroundings because his manger suspects I am stealing & this is not the first time he’s done this to coloured customers entering the store. I am completely disgusted. I am a regular Marshals customer. I’ve never experienced such a hostile environment. I will never shop at this store again & I will be expecting a follow up to...
