This is a rip off place. Got all my rotors , brakes, brake fluid done by Firestone jersey city coz they offered "lifetime warranty" at least that how they explained the warranty at the time of sale. Now within a year brakes aren't working so I got them checked at Nissan Dealership & another auto service center and both confirmed that brake pads needs to be replaced and rotors can be used by smoothing them out... Time to go back to firestone jersey city, first they made an unsuccessful attempt of overcharging me with $120 as labor if only rear brake pads needs to be changed. He could NOT deny reducing it to $60 as I already got a quote of $60 before telling him about warranty claim. Now they checked the vehicle and came back saying ALL the rotors are in pretty bad shape and must be replaced (THAT"S CHEAP PRODUCTS THAT THEY USE)... Person helping me says it the weather and generally the firestone rotors CANNOT BE SMOOTH EN even once because the quality is CHEAP (giving an example of potato chips packet which used to have more chips in a big earlier and now a days company is making profit by selling less quantity in each pack.. I don't know how to relate it with current situation) .... SO THEY THEMSELVES SAID THAT ITS THE CHEAP PARTS THEY USE.... then the manager says Nissan showroom and the other service centers are both incorrect... and I will have to change the rotors if I want to get brake pads changed under warranty... So their warranty is a rip off.. and they are liars... I am going to go back to the dealership again to ensure I still have the same rotors (i don't believe them) ... They will say what you want to hear about the warranty on the work they do but will NOT let you get the warranty ... NEVER GO...

I wasted four hours (3:00 PM - 7:00 PM) at Firestone, dealt with John, who claimed to be the manager, and Alex. After this extensive wait, John informed me that the wheel lock was damaged. He suggested an additional $90 to break the lock and fix the tires. Feeling disheartened, I declined and left. The manager reduced tire costs initially, but now demands $90 to address the lock issue. This experience left me deeply upset. Upon researching, I discovered that repair shops typically possess the necessary tools to address such issues promptly. This establishment employs a bargaining strategy, initially quoting high prices and then offering slight reductions. Due to my refusal to pay extra, they damaged my tire lock.
I strongly advise against patronizing this auto care location.
Suggestions for improvement:
Employ experienced store managers focused on customer satisfaction. Clearly communicate mechanical terms to customers without deception. Promptly inform customers if issues are unsolvable, rather than prolonging wait times. Address issues with online appointment scheduling, ensuring accuracy and accountability. Improve customer service; John exhibited rudeness and lacked customer friendliness. Prioritize customer time; consider replacing tires and resolving issues promptly. Take responsibility for damages caused, such as the damaged wheel lock. Implement a customer appointment logbook and adhere to a first-come-first-serve policy to enhance customer satisfaction.
Best wishes to the Firestone team for...
Read moreI should have taken my car to a kindergarten class for what I got. Booked an appointment online for drop-off Friday morning at 7AM (2013 Volvo S60). It's my daughter's car, so trying to do some work before taking it back to her at college. So.....Dropped off at 706 AM. Verbally asked for tune-up, oil change and to assess why my check-engine light was on. At 717 AM, I received the emailed work order. OK....I would like to say, I did not thoroughly review the work order. That will come into play later. BUT having heard nothing around lunchtime. I called at 1:02 PM to ask what the deal was, I had gotten no call to understand my diagnostics and align on a plan. They said it was JUST being hooked up for Diagnostics. 😡😡 Having heard nothing yet again, I called back at 5:07 PM only to be told, I needed to take it to a Volvo dealership because it was an electrical issue. I said OK well what about my oil change????!!!! They were like you didn't ask for an oil change. 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. Which I did verbally when I dropped it off. They said well you didn't in the online appt request. 🙁🙁. Right, but I asked for it when I dropped the car off. I'm like...so it took you all day to tell me you couldn't help me???? Pls just change my oil. Then I got in the car, no oil change sticker. I go back in like where is my sticker???? Instead of removing the OLD one, they just put the new one up. Like the service and attention to detail is zero. I take responsibility for not seeing that the oil change was missing from the work order. Nonetheless, this was not an All...
