Discovery Clothing — Attraction in Joliet

This store is unprofessional, everytime I have came in the staff never greets you and there always huddled together just gossiping about inappropriate things and non work related conversations, one occasion I confronted the young lady and I told her they really got to watch what they say specially because she was coursing amongst her co worker when I asked her who's the manager she said she was, I didn't bother calling I'm like there young and just need to be trained better . Another occasion I went in with my sister and was going to buy this liquid eyeshadow and on the display it said $1.99 but when I went to the register it ranged $2.99 and I told the cashier she said they couldn't change it because the store likes to over priced items, I was just like omg , I just left it . I told my sister who likes to shop here see this is why I don't like shopping here not because they didn't change the price but because they dont have good customer service but my sister want me to give it one last chance so the last time I was there same thing different day different occasion so my sister who lives about 40 min away sees a coupon for 20 percent off if you spend $25 or more on regular priced items before tax on Facebook and tells me and my sister in law to keep an eye out and we see it ourselves so we all get the coupon and were looking in the store no one greeted us mind you , so we finally got are stuff to pay and my sister goes first and the cashier calls the manager over about the coupon and tells her she cant honor it because she needs a code, and we tell her we had this honored before when they did there last 20 percent and never had a problem and who did it last time around just keyed in something, so she was like no no no pretty much arguing and debating and calmly my sister was trying to explain to her I'm showing you the coupon is not letting me click since the net is slow you cant just honor it since I'm showing you on my phone, she kept saying no and she also called someone else probably her manager, I ask her can you manually key it in you just don't want to she said yes and she ain't, she said they have to be professional and go by the books I said by the books and professional even when I came in no one greeted me and they were huddled for a minute by the register talking about someone is back know they have to work they don't want to work and so on if they don't believe me check your cameras I can tell you time and day ,just a big hot mess they are very untrained and unprofessional I don't blame them neccesarily I blame the hire up training needs to be better and customer service has to be a priority, I told my sister "and you like this store lol" this is why I dont. I gave it a chance so many times now I'm done , if the manager should have been better in customer service even if she didn't honor the coupon it would of been fine but by the way she acted and try to argue with my sister I rather just go somewhere else if you never been here DONT COME HERE!!! I hardly came here but every time I did nothing changes, last straw for me I don't like giving out bad reviews just positive ones but this is just ridicules that I have to warn people and please don't bring your kids this Is not a family friendly environment.

this store in my opinion has 2 sides 1 is casual clothing the other side would be dressy and also club wear. towards the back of the store they a shoe department, in front of that they have a large variety of jewelry. they also carry p.j and under garments, today I came in looking for a navy sweater for my 10 yr old daughter, I think I found what I was looking for, hope she likes it. I also asked about there return policy the sales associates was extremely helpful the manager came to the register and asked how long ago my purchase was I told her it was well over 1 month, they really both wanted to do the return I felt they were bummed out I wasn't able to, the manager said the register would not allow it. it would not go through I told them it was fine the return was still in my car. it's not a big deal they both apologized which they didnt have to. over all great experience in...

Went into the store just now on NYE to pick up a few cute shirts since I had to work all day and had no time to shop I made it known as soon as I entered and said so sorry I know it’s 8:50pm but I will be quick the way the two girls walked over two seconds later to where I was shopping to watch me left a very unpleasant taste in my mouth as a black woman. As someone who worked in retail For 10 plus years prior to moving into corporate I know every trick. The two girls pretended to be zoning a rack while watching since I knew right away I made sure to walk in front of them and put away my own belongings.
