This little gem of a gallery has brought so much richness to the quaint town of Jonesborough. Debbie and James are genuinely interested in the community and always make you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. James is a superb and diverse artist, and his work is full of beautiful color and design. Debbie is also multitalented and teaches many different types of classes. Her one of a kind jewelry pieces are for sale in the gallery. What makes this place even more special is their opening receptions featuring works from local artists. The Griffin Art Gallery is a hidden gem in the mountains of eastern TN and the general Tri-City area. The owners (James and Debbie) are wonderful people with a deep passion for art and working with artists in the area.

I was honored to be part of the first photography show held at the gallery (Point of View, 5/10-6/8/2024); first ever, as far as I am aware. The care and thought that went into the opening reception was more than I could have asked for.

I attended a flower pressing class by Debbie today and was so impressed with her knowledge and the art that she has created with her pressed flowers.
