Corner Company Beverage Emporium — Restaurant in Jonesborough

An October Saturday and what better place to have our little brunch of Chai tea, Flying Lotus (Matcha tea etc), cranberry scone, and my most favorite--a delicious Lox Bagel, put together with craft and love. Starts with a very soft warm everything bagel, cream cheese, lox, dill, and capers. We ask for the capers to be placed underneath the lox, although aesthetically nicer on top. Can't emphasize enough how we ❤️ this local coffee shop plus more. Friendliness and hometown feel. Support your local coffee shops. We travel a lot and try to do so even on the road.

Today we order coffee, a chai tea and a fresh warmed- up cranberry orange scone. 😋 The original "corner cup" was bought by the new owner, Michael, so please put your reviews here for Corner Company and help by showing the other venue as Permanently closed. Also, when grabbing a snack, breakfast, soup, etc--real utensils--not plastic. How nice!!

Absolutely ❤️ this place, Michael, owner, and his congenial folks, Lex, who help out. Had the Lox bagel with hot coffees and chai teas. If you like salmon, then try the Lox bagel. Perfect 👌. One tip about the capers on the lox, have them put underneath near the cream cheese so they don't roll around. 😊 Also, I am am certain the rest of the menu items are top notch. We came in one day, during the Mardi Gras season, and had coffee/tea with a carry out of andouille/chicken okra creole soup. The flavors were definitely a blend of spices imitating Louisiana's great creole and Cajun cooking. ...

This has been our go-to cafe ever since we moved to Johnson City. Michael and his crew make the best espresso coffee in the area, hands down.
