It was our first time into Corner Cup So we took our time soaking in the lovely and cozy feel of downtown Jomesbourgh .. which the Corner Cup’s aesthetic fit right in! The seating area was totally separate from where you order which I really appreciated, plus they had a cutesy little seating area outside that I enjoyed. The menu was detailed with various different selections so you had many options! The baristas were really nice and were following social distancing with proper hand washing done in front of us. They were patient with us as it was our first time in and thankfully we went when there wasn’t any other customers. My coffee was amazing, it was a coconut caramel extra shot hot latte and my fiancé ordered a caramel macchiato which was also good! They had little bottles of syrups and all kinds of branded merchandise etc for sale and it wasn’t crazy expensive so we browsed and I definitely had to have a sticker! My only regret is we didn’t order any of the bakery food items so I don’t have any feedback on it but I can tell you it looked and smelled good! If you are in the area I do recommend them highly as the whole experience was pleasant... quality service, products, and affordable! I’m sure when we are back in the area again that we...

I really love a coffee shop, but even more so on a cold day, so I decided to try The Corner Cup out on a 30F Sunday.

I really do like the atmosphere here; with its two toned paint, miss matched table and chairs, and reclaimed wood counter. It just has the vibes of an eccentric safe haven.

The baked goods where amazing! The three of us orders strawberry scones, fresh out of the oven, and they where so good we all ordered another each after we where done (although I tired the cheddar bacon the second time around) They where soft and flavorful the way they should be. Halfway between a cookie and a biscuit, perfect.

My only gripe was the coffee itself. Anyone can make a cup of plain black coffee at home….but mixed drinks are the bread and butter of a coffee shop. Both the Mocha and the Cappuccino where good, but the added flavors where overpowering. Chocolate, vanilla, hazelnut….these should be undertones that bring out the best in the coffee, not overwhelm it. Felt like someone handed me a hot chocolate.

Overall, great experience. Will be back, but not in my...

Oddly difficult to find a really good cup of coffee in the Tri Cities. However met some friends for my first visit to the Corner Cup in Jonesborough and was pleasantly surprised. As one walks in the door they are immediately struck by the atmosphere that hearkens back to a earlier, simpler time. I was greeted by a smiling barista and asked for my order. I ordered an Americano and sat down with my friends. Shortly my beverage arrived and it was excellent. I understand completely why some in Tennessee's oldest town refer to the Corner Cup as Jonesborough's living room. Locally owned, good atmosphere, great service, nice value, and a wonderful cup of coffee. Cannot ask for...

Located in the heart of historic downtown Jonesborough, The Corner Cup has recently reopened after renovation. This kitchy little coffee shop possesses a vintage charm showcasing a full-size 1940's Whitman's Chocolate refrigerator display cabinet with neatly folded merch for sale. Their menu is replete with brunchy food items, yummy scones, and a nice variety of Java based beverages. However, be aware seating is very limited and it can get quite loud, so depending on the current clientele, a quiet conversation may not be possible. An outside table also provides extra optional seating, weather permitting.
