Picture this, it’s cinco de Mayo and your restaurant is packed. Live music is playing and plenty of people are drinking, sounds like a great scenario right? No a complete and utter debacle. Our poor waiter was acting as a waiter, a cashier and manager because both owners didn’t bother to show up until 7:30pm. I feel incredibly sorry for the wait staff, they were obviously extremely overwhelmed. Numerous people walked out on their tabs because they simply couldn’t get a bill. One of the owners (who finally showed up) grabbed a plate from our table and asked how it was and I said horrible. Ready for his response? “Oh really,” and walked away! We gave our waiter an incredibly nice tip and walked out as did many others. I am reporting them to the better business bureau as I pulled all of their information from the Secretary of State. This was deplorable. We moved here from New Orleans recently and never would we have received service in any restaurant there and that’s a major city! For a town that prides themselves on customer service, these owners could obviously care less. Seriously disgusting and I can promise you we will never come to this establishment again and better yet, we live in the largest subdivision in town and I’ll make sure to spread the word. The wait staff was incredible given the situation they were put in by such poor poor poor ownership...
Read moreI am an out of state visitor; visiting the family for the holidays . Went into this establishment, ordered an alcoholic beverage. Waiter, asked for my ID and I provided it. He left, the “manager” came over and asked to then see it. I am from Arizona, where drivers license don’t expire for literally 55 years. My expiration date on my license is 2068, and the manager had refuse to serve me because he deemed my drivers license as “fake”. He kept referring to the “ABC” laws in TN. When I told him I’m a military vet, he then asked for my military ID. Which, I don’t carry since it states I’m a vet on my DL. I THEN, pulled up the website for TN Laws for identification for drinking and it states military discharge papers can also be accepted as identification. When I showed him on my phone my DD-214 ( military discharge paperwork) He said, I have to have a physical copy in my hand. So, I’m suppose to carry around my discharge paperwork, and assuming a different ID?! By this time, we also waited over 37 minutes for our food. Which, the food was delicious, but the waiter was so flustered by the whole situation that, not once did he check on us. Told my family I will NEVER come back to this restaurant! Good luck...
Read moreThere are lots of mexican restaurants out there but this place stands out to me.
If your reading this you are probably trying to see if its all worth it.
This is why I like this place
It's easy to pull into the parking lot and see from the road, it's not hidden so you don't drive right past it.
The service is attentive and good, they also don't rush you to order and truly let you take your time. Even when they hand you your check they say "Whenever your ready" and walk away. I've never been thirsty there as they are good at refills.
The Salsa! Okay this salsa is on a whole nother level. It is really good with the chips. They also keep it coming with chip baskets and more salsa is brought to the table right before you finish what's on the table in front of you!
Happy hour is actually worth getting a drink. Great prices and sizes on alcohol. Makes. You feel like your getting what you pay for, the value is good.
The food is very good and the portion size will fill a person up. Food tastes authentic and not like a cheap american knock off. Food is well cooked and the flavors satisfy!
This is why I would recommend choosing this place to...
