Was not impressed with this hotel at all. They are remodeling the hotel so as you walk into the lobby there are huge boxes everywhere. As you walk through the hall way you have to be careful not to trip on the carpet that they are currently updating. I do understand that updating is currently being done, but it should not be a hazard in any way. The worst part was, during the night the sheets kept popping off the mattress and I had to keep getting up to fix it. Well in the morning when I finally turned the lights on I found a huge urine stain on the mattress cover. So throughout night my skin was against this nasty mattress pad covered in urine. This not just the mattress pad either. If you look at the picture you can see the stain is also on the mattress. Maybe a trip to my family doctor is needed. I will be calling as soon as they open. I took pictures and told the man at the front desk about it. I showed him the pictures, and he said "I'm sorry". That's it! Really one of your guess tell you something like that and shows pictures and all that is said is sorry. Next, is the wonderful breakfast. The coffee is not drinkable, and the food is cold. I guess that is what you should except for free, right??? Only thing good about breakfast at this hotel is the Dunkin Donuts at the end of the drive. I will never stay here again and don't recommend, if you like your health, you stay here either. The General Manager, LISA is not pleasant and quite the witch!!!

Where do I start-1st they charge $250 deposit because I live local and was told that could get back to me in two weeks. We stayed there because it did have an indoor swimming pool and my son was on spring break and that’s all he asked to do was swim. Second, I was sitting in the lobby where no one could see me drinking a cup of coffee and heard them giving three or four different prices to different people. Some walk- ins others on the phone., The pool room smelled like strong chlorine. My son wanted to swim so bad although the water seem cloudy we went ahead and tried it. That night he had eaten ice cream and got real sick with vomiting and started having areas on his face. I was thinking it was the ice cream that had made him sick, but then the next day he did the same thing after we got out of the pool. I asked the manager about the chlorine and she said it had been checked three days earlier by the state of Tennessee. I asked to see the report and she refused. I became very angry because my son was sick And she did not even care. I called the police to see if they may be able to talk her into letting me see it because I didn’t know whether to take him to the doctor with chlorine poisoning or maybe he just was sick with a virus. She told the police officer no . I took my son home, called his doctor and treated him with medication and stayed with him until he started getting better. Please please don’t ever stay at this place. It is a hazard.

I wish I could give Zero stars. We have stayed here 15-20 weekends in the last 5-6 year's to visit family and let the kids swim and for their mother and I to use the hot-tub to sooth our backs. This past weekend, we checked in and had a 7 year old cousin with us that is generally afraid to stay the night away from home. So at 10pm her dad came for her leaving us a child short. On Saturday, when we were in the pool an Aunt of ours dropped off an 8 y/o nephew to catch up with my kids and play. On the wife's way back inside the Hotel, the desk clerk, acting very disrespestfully to my wife, told her that our nephew wasn't allowed at the hotel and we would have to have someone drive back to pick him up. Tears started flowing from a couple kids. Meanwhile, there was a pool party gathering. 98% being people who WERE NOT staying there! The "registered" guests had to sit on the wet, hard floor of the pool area. Our Aunt came back for the nephew and we started packing to drive beck home/looking on the Net for a different hotel in JC to stay during our 10-15 yearly visits because this was our last stay here!! Not to mention, they filled the hot-tub in with concrete and are still advertising it as a current feature. Luckily, I am a local guide On Google that can help spread the word for people NOT to stay here.

The hotel itself is fine. Great value for the money. April was amazing with booking/check in questions. However we came to this hotel several states away with the intention of getting away from bad weather. We were told the next morning that we had to be out before the listed time on their site and despite flash flood warnings and ongoing turbulent weather they were absolutely adamant about their refusal to extend check out an hour and at minimum to the actual time listed on their website. We were told we had to leave or would be charged another day. This was beyond annoying as April had told us the day before that they had about ten guest. I highly doubt they were working that hard and that swamped on a Monday morning that they could not at least honor the time listed on their site so we could wait for the weather to die down a bit. We did not have breakfast because we were told when checking in that if we wanted it we had to call and tell them in the morning and they could give us cereal. This is the ā€œfree breakfastā€ included on their website. As we were leaving Lisa the hotel manager flagged our car down and told us that they charge a $250 fee for having pets in the hotel. We didn’t have a pet inside and I was beyond irritated as my husband and I had just walked out to our car parked in front of the hotel door visible from the desk for loading, me carrying my baby and my husband our 4 year old. Clearly they would have seen a dog. When I pointed this out to her she told me that another employee saw a dog and she was just asking cause sometimes people sneak them in through the back. Our room was also right next to the desk. and in front of several hallway cameras. Video would have shown we didn’t have a pet inside the room. After writing this review I checked others and realized discrimination and fake charges are a norm here. So please be aware. I checked my card tonight and wasn’t charged from what I can see after I called Lisa out on her accusations that had zero logic. The customer service here was horrendous, so much so and so unnecessary that it immediately made me feel like we were mistreated because we had been targeted as black people. I also see other reviewers had issues with being discriminated against for other things like being handicapped/LGBT as well, so I am not shocked and irritated with myself for not checking reviews first.

There was absolutely ZERO attempt to be sure we were taken care of as customers. We left visibly upset with two children in the middle of bad weather on the way home several state’s away after being accused of something we didn’t do. I will never...

The quality of the hotel staff was outstanding, very nice and courteous, they made us feel like at home. We are a family of 6. We had a long drive from Miami to Tennessee. Our reservation was at 3 but we called ahead of time and they let us in early. We were so grateful because we were tired from driving almost 15 hours. We stayed 8 days and never had issues with anyone fom the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff. The room and bathroom it self was clean. We reserved the room with two queen beds. We all fit 3 on each bed. Beds were confy. Was offered clean sheets and towels daily. They also gave us extra shampoo and soap since it was 6 of us. They never had an issue with giving us extra cups too. Breakfast was always on point hot and ready it filled Our tummy. They also had coffee available 24/7 in the front lobby. I have 4 kids, 2 teens and two under 10. They used the pool for a couple days and never felt uncomfortable. Pool was warm since it was cold when we went. Staff never made any comments or never made us feel uncomfortable with any looks when my kids we in the pool or lobby. They also have a gym which was not opened to the public because someone broke a window and safety with their priorty. They have in the lobby a computer, t.v., snack station and a laundry for our personal use, also they had an ice machine on the 3rd floor which worked. They also had games for kids and puzzles and a checkers table for intertainment, if you got bored. All my kids used the computer and games offered by the hotel for them to use. My kids never complained about anyone giving them an uncomfortable look. Over all my family really enjoyed this hotel which made us feel welcomed and cared for in any of our needs. Over all this is by far the best hotel my family and I have visited. The front desk staff and the kitchen lady who served breakfast our so freaking nice. I don't know where all the bad reveiw come from, but from my perspective and my family point of view this is by far the best and cozy hotel we've been to. They have all that your vacation need with a family of 6 with different interest and needs this hotel has exceeded our expectations. It was like staying at your own home with family members. They treated us more then just a guest, we were treated like family. Will be coming back to this hotel and would highly recommend to family and friends. Please keep same staff and mangangemnet is very crucial to keep happy customers and reviews...

We got a reservation last minute- sure its a budget hotel, but the reviews were good. Check in was smooth enough, the front desk clerk seemed helpful. The problem came when we got to the room, which smelled like mildew. Again, it's a 2 star hotel, so I let it go. Then I stepped on the carpet and it was damp...um, not good. My husband went to the front desk and was told "they cleaned the carpets recently". Okay. But I'd think you'd have them dry before you have people staying in the room. Wanting to get in bed after a 12+ hour day of travel, I slid under the sheets only to discover the bedding was damp...as in you lay down in your pajamas and your clothes feel damp. I go back to the front desk, and tell the clerk that the carpet AND the bedding was wet. She says she would have to call her the general manager 'Lisa' to ask what could be done since the hotel was fully booked with the exception of a suite. After a brief call with the GM the front desk clerk walked back to the room and felt the sheets and said "I think these just didn't get dry enough. We've been short handed, but I can bring you some fresh sheets and we can see if that helps". I said "the solution is that I change the bedding in a hotel I'm renting for the night?" The clerk then said "I spoke with our GM she said unless the bed was wet like someone had peed the bed, we can't reassign you to another room". I asked to speak with the GM and the owner of this hotel, the clerk said the GM wouldn't be available until 3pm the next day.

The clerk got us new bedding, however, they had no fresh/dry pillows or mattress protectors. So my husband and I changed the sheets on a hotel we PAID to stay in. Just to be clear, changing some bedding thats wet, but not ALL of it doesn't solve the problem. Again, I knew going into it what level of service to expect, but asking guests to either change the bedding or sleep on wet sheets is below grade for any hotel. I couldn't be more disappointed.

PS you shouldn't have guest change sheets cause they'll see the nasty mattress you have people sleeping on.

UPDATE: When I asked to speak with the GM, I was given the corporate number. So I called - in the process of trying to resolve my complaint they called the hotel GM. The the GM told corporate that we were offered a refund if we didn't want to stay the night. That is 100% false, the only resolution we were offered was new sheets. The management at this location is very...
