East Tennessee Hemp Company — Local services in Jonesborough

Really a great template of what small business should be and is in this region. A historic sight and best appearance outside of the shop in downtown Jonesborough is really what brought me in the doors while we were on vacation for our anniversary. Paid multiple visits over the course of the weekend there, spoke with different folks each time and walked away pleased and feeling more educated on the subject of Hemp/CBD/CBG products.

Shop is clean, well organized and thoughtfully labeled and laid out. They really want to educate you on your purchase if you’re new to the hemp products community, not just sell you on “this is good for this” jargon and push you otw feeling finessed as you walk out the doors. Spoke in length with what I believe to be both of the owner/operators/growers and felt confident in my purchases due to their insight and suggestions. Came back and purchased a few more gifts for a good friend the following day! Was given a generous discount on my purchases too and couldn’t be happier with the experience or results of their products.

I have since then in the following days recommended multiple friends of mine to check them out and shop online with them, as they really opened my eyes to the positive and versatile nature of hemp and the hemp industry as a whole. These guys are locally owned, and by all appearance well versed and hard working small business, and supporting businesses of this nature has really fallen by the way side with the onslaught of a respiratory infection pandemic. I normally wouldn’t pen such a long winded review, but I felt it was important to state what makes companies like this great beyond their products, whatever it might be. They’re “just like you” being a working family and deserve to be treated as such whether ppl agree or disagree with the industry they provide for themselves with.

When I first visited Johnson City, this shop caught my eye. Even as someone who comes from a state where full cannabis is legal, this store is the most unique "hemp" store I've had the privilege of visiting. The owner is an awesome guy, and he clearly cares about what he's doing. He can answer pretty much any question you can throw at him regarding hemp and even crosses strains to experiment with ones that have relatively high levels of specific cannabinoids as they become more researched.

Just simply rude unhelpful and OVER PRICED! We began to try to find alternative ways to treat Insomnia and other issues to aid patients and help avoid western medicine. I couldn't get anyone here to take 60 seconds to tell us about what's what. After going to multiple places across the region we finally located a biz in Kingsport where they tell you about everything and it's actually affordable.
