Washington County Clerk — Attraction in Jonesborough

I just moved here to Gray from California. I moved to be with my family as I was alone there. Registering my car at the county clerks was a very bad experience. The gal helping me was quite disgruntled that I was from California and made sure I knew it. According to her the shelves are bare at the stores, traffic is bad, anything wrong is from people moving in from other states. I didn’t come here to make life unbearable for the locals. I came here to be with family and to get away from what has become a communist state. I have worked in customer service for over 20 years and I never treated anyone like that. Today, 4/17/2025, is the last time I will step foot into the courthouse office. I’ve been the last two days trying to get the paper work to apply for a title to a cargo trailer. Yesterday I got a VIN verification form and the lady with the short hair and glasses was impatient with me and today informed me I did not have all the paperwork and was very rude.
