We were married here on 9/28/23, and I cannot put into words how amazing Rosio and Vern were! We âplannedâ this in less than 2 days; I say âplannedâ because we werenât really the ones who planned it, we answered some questions and Vern and Rosio did the rest. Iâm in awe of how they made our wedding day so personalized to us, without even knowing us, in such a short amount of time. The venue/chapel is BEAUTIFUL and made for amazing photo memories for us-photos which were taken by Rosio. We had no rehearsal because it was all last minute but no one believes us when we tell them that! Rosio helped me with my veil, my dress, the photos-she was like a wedding planner I didnât know I had! And her direction kept keep me calm throughout the process/ceremony. Vern, who was our officiant, went out of his way to make our day special! When I met him face to face right before the ceremony, I was immediately at ease; his aura was like a light on a table-his spirit was calm, happy, peaceful. He even did something special for us during our ceremony! And he also included a remembrance of our parents, who have passed, which meant the world to us. I canât put into words how happy we are that we chose Pilgrim Chapel and had Vern and Rosio, who helped make our day unforgettable. May God...
Read moreI'm not one that writes reviews but my experience for my wedding here was beyond amazing and I knew I had to let others know. If you are looking for the perfect intimate setting for your wedding day and amazing support from the staff, this is it! Catherine is the Wedding and Event Director and I cannot even put into words how amazing she was to work with. We wanted to find somewhere that our dog could be flower girl and she had no issues with it. Prior to wedding I even meet up with her two different times to show my parents and the pastor the venue, all of which she took time out of her personal schedule to meet us. She was very flexible with our wedding rehearsal the night before as we has some members show up late and on our wedding day was there to even open and close doors for the wedding party to enter. If it wasn't for her helping with rehearsal and the day of the wedding, it wouldn't of went as smooth. She truly went above and beyond and always was quick to answer any questions via email that we had. I would recommend pilgrim to chapel to every couple who wants the perfect intimate setting. It's a beautiful chapel and the support you get is unheard of. Worth every single...
Read moreThis is the cutest little place, but after two awful experiences getting married here I would never recommend this to anyone I care about đ
First, we booked our date, paid our dues, and went to tour about two months later, only to be told they had double booked the chapel with another wedding. We rushed through our ceremony to allow the next bride and groom to keep their date too. (It wasnât their fault)
And then, the worst part, the officiant Vern should have retired about 30 years ago. His attire, his verbiage, the way he carried himself was so uncomfortable and awkward. He was late to walk out so me and my dad, (after walking down the aisle) stood uncomfortably waiting about 2 minutes for him to come out. Watching my wedding video is painful. He was terrible and I cannot stand the things he said during my ceremony. 0/10 would...
