This is a really cute place! Decorated very nicely for the Christmas season. Inside, is a little cramped. It was our first time there and it was a little confusing how everything worked. The menus are in a very inconvenient place. People coming in the door are in the way of people putting their menus away after ordering. The menu is not really easy to follow for prices or flavors or sizes. Really it just needs some more explaining it to be clearer. The non dairy option is not clear either. Many things cost extra but it's not very clear without asking specifically. The girls working were helpful and patient. But then they seemed to get a little impatient with us after asking so many questions. The ingredients for the non dairy base option are really unhealthy--dyes, chemicals, and other undesirable items. I don't think it was sugar free either and the way it was stated in the menu made it seem like it was sugar free. Perhaps there's another solely sugar free option that we were not aware of. Maybe you can't have sugar AND dairy free? The cost was REALLY high, but that's probably because we didn't know there were so many added charges. The sizes are pretty small for the price too. In fact, the ice cream cost more than our dinner did at the restaurant we had just eaten at! Everything was delicious and the presentation was pretty good. It was a very confusing situation though. I think going another time, knowing how things work and cost, would be helpful. I tried to call the place earlier in the day to ask my questions then, so I wouldn't be holding up a line or being inconvenient for the workers or other customers. But, no one answered and I kept getting an answering machine that only started the hours. I left a message for someone to call me back, but still have not received a call back 24 hours later. Not very pleased with the overall service of the place. But if you're just looking for some tasty ice cream that's prepared in a fun way and you don't mind the higher prices, you'll likely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy family and I recently visited Frozen Cow Ice Cream in Kennesaw, GA, and it was a delightful experience that deserves a five-star review. Nestled in a charming, repurposed old home, the shop has a cozy, inviting vibe that instantly made us feel welcome. My wife, our two small children (including our 6-month-old in a stroller), and I were thrilled with the accessibility of the placeāthereās a well-designed ramp out front that made it easy for me to navigate with my cane and for my wife to push the stroller. The staff greeted us warmly, and the clean, nostalgic interior added a special touch to our visit, making it a perfect stop for a family treat. We ordered a large bananas foster ice cream and a medium chocolate turtle ice cream, and both were absolutely delicious. The bananas foster was rich and creamy, with just the right balance of caramelized banana flavor, while the chocolate turtle had generous swirls of fudge and caramel with crunchy pecans that made every bite a treat. The portions were impressively generousāour kids had plenty to share, and we didnāt feel shortchanged in the slightest. The ice cream is clearly made with care, and the variety of flavors on the menu means thereās something for everyone. Watching our toddler giggle while devouring their share was a highlight of the day. What sets Frozen Cow apart is the thoughtful attention to detail, from the accessibility to the quality of the ice cream and the friendly service. The staff was patient as we made our choices and even offered a few samples to help us decide. The outdoor seating area was a nice option, though we stayed inside to enjoy the air conditioning. The only minor note is that parking can be a bit tight during busy times, but we found a spot without much hassle. Frozen Cow is a gem in Kennesaw, and weāre already looking forward to our next visit for another round of their fantastic ice cream. Itās a must-try for families or anyone craving a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo, on the 14th of July my brother planned for us to spend the day together and he has been raving about your location for weeks and weeks. We barely get weekends off together and we took the days off in advance and planned to make a trip to Kennesaw, when we visited on the 14th we came in behind some other guest and they said they were out of liquid nitrogen at around 2:50pm. Needlessly to say due to the excitement my brother had we stayed for a bit due to the fact they said the wait wouldn't be long, come 3:20pm my brother walked out and drove to our next destination and I decided to wait for my ice cream to see how good it was, because I had a few mins to spare while my brother cooled off. Then I got my ice cream and the bad taste came to my mouth. All the other customers that came in with us were compensated for the time we had to wait except for me and the person behind me, we were both frustrated but neither of us argued it.
The woman in charge kept the two front families occupied and happy but really, she should have kept an eye on who waited with them and everything else going on. The location was nice and the ice cream indeed was good, but due to the wait and how things were handled, the sweetness of the icecream became...bitter to say the least. The woman in charge also happened to leave the room before I was checked out, and I wasn't going to voice my concerns either to the other associates doing their hardest to please the other customers, it just simply wasn't there fault or problem to deal with.
It's just a disappointment on how things...
