Fishes and Dishes — Restaurant in Ketchikan

Personally I don’t give 5 star reviews because I always believe that food services organizations are doing their best.

This is an exception to my normal rule, and an exceptional representation of what good food and service should be providing to the customer.

On our 7 day cruise to multiple locations, this will be the only review because this is the only place I had a breath of fresh air after my first bite.

The fry work done on the fish taco was well done and was perfected by the garnishing of fresh cabbage and the expertly crafted salsa and sauce. The culmination of these delivered a bite that was not-too-sweet, spicy and savory all at once.

The green curry chowder, which was originally intrigued us to make the stop here: was so fantastic there was no picture to take because we devoured it. A complex take on a saturated dish in Alaska is brave and should be rewarded with your business.

The truck is staffed by the most friendly service people.

This amazing place we found has been the best food in Ketchikan! The absolutely best salmon there. The owner John and his wife told us that our fish was swimming the day prior, we have never tasted such delicious salmon.
