A wonderful shop, just the right distance from the cruise docks. Deborah was warm and engaging. She made sure my husband was well settled in the husband waiting chair, and then I was able to bask in her undivided attention and knowledge. She took the time to explain a new fiber art to me, showed me examples, give me a through run down of where I should start, and what to look for as I progressed in skill. She is extremely well versed in both her stock and the differences and benefits of different fibers. She was also particularly good and finding the right level of detail to explain and speaking to me on my level based on my current knowledge. I understand her shop also hosts classes and I can imagine that they would be an amazing venue to learn in if my interaction was anything to go by. This will be my beeline destination in Ketchikan going forward. And I suspect my online destination too, as the website is top-notch.

Small samples of all types of product everywhere (easier to imagine what it will look like made up) & she was there to answer all our questions. Lots of local dyed yarns as well as “yarns from all around the world’! Best...

So much more fun than my boring plastic markers. This shop is definitely worth the walk...
