This is a headache inducing tourist trap. We saw the colorful building and found some coupons in the local coupon book and thought it could be a fun pit stop. It was incredibly bright, the floor was sticky and the smell is headache inducing. They don’t offer a large selection of candy. There are signs all over that say 3.79 but looking closely it’s 3.79 per 1/4th pound. One container of salt water taffy costs nearly 20$. Our total was 32$ for three items! Two toys (2.99 stress ball, 7.99 kids push toy - the rest of the total was one container of salt water taffy) the sign doesn’t clearly clarify the expense. We left and decided to go to Forbes, we got double what they had to offer for the same price and the quality was much better! Avoid this place, it’s an over priced, low quality candy store. If anyone has the coupons for spend 10$ get a free lollipop or spend 20 get a free beach bag - the lollipops are airheads basically and the beach bag is a ridiculously flimsy and something you could find at a dollar store. It’s a rainbow chap plastic bag with their logo....
Read moreCandy is very expensive but Is expected in a tourist area. It's definitely a fun stop for the kids and is very exciting for them to be able to go around and pick out candy in a self serve style being this isn't something they can do at home. Or at least there's not any places like this for us where we live. I wouldn't recommend their fudge though. If they make their fudge in house then they definitely need to work on their recipes. We bought a few different flavors and I trashed them all. They were all super hard and tasted like some pre made fudge out of a factory that had been frozen and then thawed out and just had this almost freezer burnt like taste to them. I'm not a picky eater whatsoever and pretty much consider myself a garbage disposal when it comes to food...and I couldn't muster myself to finish their fudge so that should tell you something. Otherwise the place is a enjoyable activity for the kids to make a stop here while...
Read morePrime example of a tourist trap. 13.98 per pound of candy for the cheaper candys (gummys, rock candy, hard tacks) The chocolates run higher. They do have ice cream and fudge although those are priced insanely high as well. Your better off getting ice cream somewhere else thats locally owned and operated. They struggle to keep this place clean (kids with sticky hands everywhere, touching everything) and alot of bulk candys are missing lids (I dont even want to think of how many kids jusy put their hands into the bulk wothout a scoop 🤢) Steer clear of the very pricey truffles and other treats in the cases...They are not selling and the chocolate is turning. Stale chocolate for 2.99 or more for a single piece is just crazy. Its a good place for a tourist to take their kids and drop 50+ dollars on cheap candy and toys. So if that's how you like to burn your hard earned...
