Midwest TV and Appliance — Attraction in La Crosse

We purchased all of our appliances for a brand new build through them in 2022 since they are a locally owned company. They said that ALL appliances would be installed for free and then they didn’t install the microwave. When I called and asked about it they said that the microwave would be a charge to install as it was not included and I could pay to have someone come back to install it. A microwave is an appliance, yes?!?! They never mentioned this to us when purchasing as they told us ALL appliances. So I ended up having to pay our contractors to install it since they would do it at a better cost. Fast forward to 2023. Our refrigerator has an error code displaying and we did the trouble shooting and that did not fix the issue. We have only been using our refrigerator for a year and 6 days from our move in date when we originally contacted them about the error. Since we took delivery 2 months prior to this our warranty expired. They charge around $150 just to come to our house plus an additional $25 per 15 minutes here evaluating the issue and that doesn’t include the cost of what it would be to fix the issue. We chose them over a chain appliance store thinking they would have good customer service. I guess spending over $7000 on brand new appliances for a brand new house means nothing to them. I would think twice before purchasing through them and...

We made a stop in over the weekend ready to purchase a GE Café dual fuel double oven range. I did all my research online but being a business owner in a small town I wanted to support our local stores. Not sure what the problem was, maybe because I wasn’t dress to impress but no one acknowledged we were there. We even walked past two sales associates and three people sitting at desks, and not a single welcome or hello or can I help you. Not to mention we walked around not once but two full rounds. No one said anything to us till we were leaving. We finally got a goodbye, thanks for stopping. I would take your business somewhere else but maybe you’ll have better luck or maybe they’ll see this review and do better business. We were very disappointed in our experience. Their technician is apparently sick a few times per week. They cancelled our dishwasher install about 90 minutes into our install window, when i had already cleared out the bottom of the sink and gotten everything ready. When they cancelled, they rescheduled for the next week - then called me a couple days later, said they never actually rescheduled the first time, and then “actually” rescheduled me for even later. So, the third appointment arrived and again they waited to call 90 minutes into my install window with another excuse. They offered a “discount” which actually added sales tax to our purchase - a complete joke. Do not waste your time. The only thing I would say positive is that they are nice...
