Brick + Laurel — Attraction in La Mesa

This is a great venue for a small gathering. I hosted an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party for about 40 people and it was perfect! The room already has a warm ambiance, so decorating was at a minimum. I added my own fresh floral centerpieces, festive table runners & party favors and the room looked great! You can rent the tables and chairs for a minimal fee and there is a built-in bar, which was convenient. There was space in front of the building for our food truck, which made it easy for the guests to come and go.

The owner, Pat was a pleasure to work with. He was quick to respond back when I reached out with any questions. Parking can be a little tricky, but Pat provided a link with a map that you can forward to your guests, so they know where they are allowed to park.

I hosted a baby shower at this space and it was a hit!

It's a beautiful space and it's very well set up to host anything! The space has beautiful natural light. The furniture is nice- it's functional and it looks good. It was very easy for me to minimally dress the space up for my event.

You have use of different amenities that were so convenient while throwing an event- a bathroom, a refrigerator, trash cans, etc.

Not only all of those pluses, but working with the team at Brick & Laurel was a really nice and easy experience. They seem like great people that are very responsive, kind and helpful. (Thank you!)

We loved working with the team at Brick + Laurel. They were so flexible and responsive. The room is spacious yet cozy and intimate. We rented the tables and we loved the dark wood finish, allowing us to use a table runner and not a table cloth. We loved the balloon arch. It made a fabulous focal point for pics. They even provided a ring light to beautifully illuminate that area.

The room made decorating easy as there was a bar area and also a great food table area. There is a full sized fridge to keep item cool until service along with a large sink for prepping flower vases.
