NOTE: This review is not about the mall The mall is in a small town and works for what it is. The mall would get a three star.
This review is about the Verizon Diamond wireless kiosk within the mall. Two words: Run away. They are uninterested in resolving problems with phones that they have sold. They were not interested in working with the extended warranty work that was bought from them (Diamond Wireless). Story: Went across the street to a brick and mortar Verizon store, as I try to avoid the DW kiosk. I told the service members that I did not buy my phone from them, but please help as I do not know what is happening with my phone. They proceeded to help me out and try to diagnose the problems. They worked with me and found out my phone was faulty. They asked if I had insurance, I did ,but it was provided by Diamond Wireless and they told me that it would be easier for me to go to the DW kiosk in the mall and that the DW kiosk members should do most of the leg work in the insurance process. I have dealt with the DW kiosk, and have had nothing but problems but I thanked them for their help, especially since they did not have do to what they did in the first place.
I trekked over to the DW Kiosk, asked for help, explained to them my problem. Their solution, here are some phone numbers. They did not look at my phone, did not ask what the problem was, and did not even offer to do any of the leg work. They were completely uninterested in my problem.
Long story short. Go across from the mall for all your Verizon needs as they were helpful, courteous, and...
Read moreVery few doors into and out of the mall are handicapped accessible! Dillards is a nightmare to move around by the makeup and perfume because of the display towers in the middle of all the cases, I tried to maneuver between one of the tall displays and a perfume counter and accidentally hit the corner of a display counter and it broke my power chair controller, the on/off switch broke off and a bolt to hold the controller in place fell out. There were employees all around but no offer to help out, a customer helped me put the bolt in place (which just held it in place until I could get out of the store). Quite disappointing that none of the employees would even help out or call someone that could. I should have asked to speak to management but was embarrassed. Now I have a zip tie holding the controller in place but have a very difficult time turning it on and off and switching power levels. Going to contact Dillards management. Didn't even want to purchase the perfume I came there for. If you're in a power chair, most stores in the mall you can't really move around in..... very disheartening. This happened on 8/16/2019 and went back today, 8/23/2019 and just stuck to the main open aisles......
Read moreThis review is about the play area. I have a 2 yr old and a 10 month old. I'm a stay at home mom. I bring my boys here twice a week to play with other kids their age. And it never fails there is always some rediculous parent who brings their 6+ yr old kid in there to play and one of the little kids always gets hurt. Today and 8 yr old shoved my toddler off the books and he landed on his back. His mom had 2 other older boys with her too and she wasn't watching any of them. She was to busy on her phone. Then her 2 older boys (I'd say at least 10-12 yrs old) where running around the outside of the play area and then jumping over the seats and the older one kicked my 10 month old in the head with his shoes on. Security told me they can't do anything. But now I'm on my watch to the hospital to make sure his soft spot is ok because he's got a hug bruise and knot right where his soft spot is. We will not be coming back here ever again. Parents drop their kids off and just leave the mall too. I've seen cps have to be called as well. This mall and lake jackson are just plain trash. Guess we will be driving to pearland from now on. Hands down worst mall I've ever been to. And I'm...
