I had to been going to the theater every weekend for almost the past two years and it's sad to say that since it's been under new management my theater experience there has dramatically gone downhill. Some of the old staff members are nice the majority of the people that work there are just downright rude. I agree with most of the reviews as far as the theater not being kept very clean so there is a distinctive stink do it as well as the theater is never a comfortable temperature. Its sad i have to wear a sweatshirt and bring a blanket to be comfortable watching a movie here. I was infuriated last night when I left work went home got me and my gf ready to go to a movie that was stated it started at 9:15. I've been going there long enough to know that there's 20 minutes of previews so I usually show up about 15 minutes later than the movie starts. My girlfriend goes in to buy the tickets and it was 9:28 and the front was completely closed so she went inside and asked a kid that was working there about the tickets and he said "they closed at 9:15". She comes out and tells me so I walked back in at 9:33 to talk to someone and I was told that "the theater now closes at 9:30". I explained to them that I just drove from Freeport and that the movie had not even started yet because it was still in previews. The kid that was standing there just said "sorry nothing we can do". As I walk out I hear a girl say something and the guy replied that "he just walked in this door over here" and then he went behind me and shut and locked the door. How are they going to dismiss people at 9:28 and tell them that the theater closes at 9:30 and yet I look at the movie times for tonight in there's movies that start at 9:30. I will be going back today to speak with a manager and try watching the movie one more time as a Valentine's present but if I'm not pleased I will not be going back and I will not pay for another Premiere stubs membership. It's looking like I'm going to be jumping on the bandwagon and just making the drive to Pearland instead if things dont change. Sorry for those who read the long rant but I'm very...
Read moreI don’t mind an older theater, and okay sound system or limited food and beverages however this place is disgusting. The heavyset, Caucasian female “manager” who likes to eat Taco Bell while scanning your tickets and wants to argue with you if you have a bottle of water because she thinks you brought it from home because she’s too lazy to walk to the register and confirm that you actually purchase from there is a disappointment. The bathrooms are filthy. I don’t even think they get cleaned. The bartender is always on break even after I waited a few times and missed out on a movie to go get it adult beverage that bartender is still out on break and the manager claims there’s no employees and I’ll just have to wait. The other guy that’s there who is her sidekick and claims he’s some type of supervisor is just as a disappointment. Sadly, some of employees look like they never wash their uniforms. The AC has been broken for months now in theater 3. All the theaters on the same side smell like a livestock show and rodeo minus the animals.
This is so sad that this is the only theater in this area and has the potential to make so much money if there were well groomed employees with the initiative in working with other human beings. Next time I go to the mall, I will go to the theater and take photos that I should’ve taken the times that I’ve been there and been disappointed so I can update this review. Sadly, this place is trash.
I personally recommend your money and taking a drive to the next closest one to this which is CINEMARK!!!! They have hot food. Lots of employees very clean. Police are available and the atmosphere...
Read moreI recently visited the Brazos mall during Easter weekend, and I must say that I had a great experience there. Firstly, the mall itself is huge, and as a result, there is no shortage of parking spaces. This was a relief as I had been to some other malls in the past where finding parking can be quite frustrating.
Upon entering the mall, I noticed that the lobby was spacious and well-lit, making it a pleasant environment to wait in. This was particularly appreciated as I had been to some other theaters where waiting in the cold was a common occurrence. The theater had plenty of snacks available, but they were at a premium price, which was expected.
The movie rooms were spacious and comfortable, with plenty of legroom. The size of the rooms was impressive, and it was a relief to note that even though the area of town isn't usually crowded, the rooms were not crowded. They still have standard fold-down movie seats, which may not be as luxurious as the recliner seats found in some inner city theaters, but they were still comfortable enough to sit in for the duration of the movie.
Overall, I found the Brazos mall to be a good place to catch a movie and relax with family and friends. After the movie, it's just a short drive to the beach to turn up the fun. I would definitely recommend this mall to anyone looking for a great...
