Mattress Depot USA — Attraction in Lakewood

My husband and i did our first mattress shopping yesterday, and ended up being in the Mattress firm in the Lakewood because it was the first thing popped up on our Google search. I'm just gonna say..it was the most irritating experience there at the Mattress Firm. First, we walked in and no one said hi even though there were three workers and saw us directly( i remember two ladies and a guy). We were there good 15minutes ish, but no one asked us questions or greeting, but they were chatting the whole time. We were just starting to looking a mattress for ourselves, but we did not know any deals or what is going to be the good one for us because we really had NO idea. Then it was starting to getting awkward and awkward.. and felt like we were not welcomed at all since it was clear that they noticed us but fully ignored. We left without getting any "bye" or "have a great day". I know the working can be overwhelming, but if there is customer..you could have just said hi or bye to your customers. Then! We found the Mattress Depot across the street, and we just gave it a shot. As soon as we walked in, 👉👉Shawn greeted us, he stood up and came to us first! Instantly, we could tell he actually cares. He asked us questions ( I think we were looking a little lost because we have never done a mattress shopping.) Right away, he was taking us to show us some great deal that fits our budget. He made us feel comfortable, let us lay on the bed for trying out, brought us interesting pillows, and shared his little experiences to creating that sympathy haha. We were interested in financing options as well, he fully explained us how it works, when we were making decisions, he showed us this really cool bed frame that potentially we are going to buy it next time!! We bought ourselves a new mattress and this mattress protector..thingy (haha) with great deal. He gave us options, and i think he was ready to show us some awesome stuff as soon as we walked in. Not too pushy on the sale, i felt like he was actually helping us getting some deal and finding us good stuff. I higly recommend this store and look for Shawn!!! He is genuinely nice person and we were honiestly SO SO happy with our purchase. My husband and i woke up so fresh on our new bed lol i'm not gonna lie!! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Everything other than the sales experience was negative. After completing our first order here I was told one of our pillows would take several weeks to arrive due to a manufacturing error. No problem, I was completely understanding of this fact. The first and most serious issue was with delivery, they showed up on the wrong day and proceeded to enter our home against my wife's wishes while she was trying to leave with our two small children, refusing to come back on the day they had agreed to. No apology or response from management after trespassing on my property. After almost 2 months my pillow finally arrived and was nothing like the one I ordered. They completely refused to give me a refund multiple times before finally agreeing to do it when I explained how unacceptable it was to refuse a refund for a pillow I had not ordered. As an apology, they offered me a set of pillows over the phone. After returning to the store three times to attempt to sign my return paperwork, these people actually tried to give me pillow cases from the customer display case that have been handled by other customers. My husband and I were in need of an adjustable bed due to his health conditions. He had went to every store he could think of and this was the last place to go. I was stressed about prices and on the defense about sales people. As soon as I went in and met Casey I knew we were in the right place. I usually know right away if I will buy from someone or not.

Casey was really easy going and showed us all the options and price ranges. We told him our budget and he made it work for us. We also got new pillows, sheets and mattress protectors as well.

The two guys there made it a fun experience instead of a nightmare. I loved the whole process and felt relieved when I left, like a weight was lifted off me. I highly recommend at least going on there and talking to Casey and telling him what you need because he went above and beyond to listen to all the medical problems and try to help my husband and I find a something that we both loved.
