For starters, I love this place because its inexpensive, healthy food and beverages! But, the service itself is usually displeasing, and they almost always forget about my smoothie. I order food and a smoothie every time I come. I usually have to go up to the counter and remind them that I ordered a smoothie. Today was one of those days. After ordering my food and smoothie TO GO because I had to work and didnt have time to sit and eat and drink it, I went and sat and waited. My food came up less than 5 minutes after ordering, which is wonderful, but I waited 15 more mins and decided that they must have forgotten about my smoothie because I watched several other people come in after me and order smoothies and get theirs within a reasonable time slot. I went up there and just reminded them, like I usually have to do, and they said they were working on it, which it what they usually say. So, I went and sat back down, waited another 10 to 15 minutes, and went back up again, in which they told me the same thing. After waiting 30 mins for a smoothie alone, I stood there and watched her make it in front of me. In which, because of that I am assuming they never made it or started making it at all. I understand sometimes places are busy, I get it. But watching people come in after me and get there smoothies before me, is pretty upsetting...also considering I was late to work because of it. Read moreFirst off, at no fault of Nature's Oasis I was disappointed in the coffee, but only because they serve a roaster that disagrees with my stomach for whatever reason, so I was unable to get the fresh brewed coffee that I had intended to get. I bought some Guardians Cold Brew, which was good, but not necessarily what I wanted... But here is my review on the items that they could actually control. My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite for lunch, we were pleasantly surprised to be able to walk right up to the counter to order our lunch as no one else was at the counter at lunch time on a Tuesday! I order some kind of egg white sandwich on an everything bagel, and he ordered a Pesto Chicken Sandwich on a GF Tortilla wrap.
20 minutes later.....we received out order: My egg sandwich was ok - but because it was only egg whites, I discovered that I really like the yolks! The bagel itself was ok, but tasted like a plain bagel. I had never heard of the place they get their bagels from (Bialy's bagels) so I looked it up and discovered that they are closed Monday-Tuesday, so wondering if my lack of flavor was because these were older bagels from a Sunday delivery?? My husband's Pesto Chicken Sandwich did not have any Pesto - so he inquired and was told that they "ran out" of Pesto, but they offered him some kind of chipotle sauce, which he enjoyed. Being GF, I feel he always has to settle - but he did not settle here - he LOVED his sandwich and cannot...
Read moreI went in a month ago and I asked the person at the register who I could talk to about possibly getting my products in their market section. I’m a local business looking for shops what can sell my product, and because I saw a lot of local products on their shelves, I thought I’d ask. They said they were going to get the person who handles that, but it looked like they were busy. I could visibly see her talking to the other person from afar while they were putting away boxes. The lady came back to let me know she couldn’t talk to me right now, but that I could leave my info. While I was writing my info down, she gave me a smirk and said “you know you have to be certified, right?” in a very condescending way. I told her that I was registered with the department of agriculture and that I was an established business for over 2 years. After that, I felt so uncomfortable and judged. I never got a follow up, which was fine, but the way she told me that and in that tone of voice made it obvious that I was being judged. Not sure if it was because I’m Hispanic or young looking, but the proper thing to do should have been to let me know the next steps, that someone would be getting back to me and THEN I would be told of the requirements, or simply just telling that they’re weren’t accepting any new vendors. It left a really bad taste...
