My favorite movie theatre here in the Valley. The movie seats are roomy, plush, leather recliners with a place for your drinks, including beer. The walking area between the seats is generous which enables you to walk comfortably to your seat without the worry of bumping someone or stepping on their feet. In an rejoining room is a gift & book store. There's also a comfortable seating area to sip your favorite drink & read or watch television. After you watch a movie in a place of this caliber, any other movie theatre just doesn't suffice. It's pretty much the difference between night & day. Reminds me of the 1st type of theatre as this one that I visited a few years ago called the, "IPIC Theatres" in Scottsdale, Az. The Blvd Theatre is an exact duplicate, only a slightly smaller scaled version because the IPIC Theatres are quite huge. The Blvd Theatre has everything the IPIC Theatres have.. including plenty of class. The beautiful Blvd Theatre is even less expensive, quieter, & less congested than the larger theatres here locally. I'm very grateful for The...
Read moreMy friend and used to come here about every 2 weeks but after my last experience, we stopped coming, then they remodeled and we haven't returned. On that occasion, I had to cover my nose during the whole movie due to the bug spraying poison smell they have to do so they can kill cockroaches. They could have used cockroach hotels or dry bait. Don't poison your regular customers thoughtlessly! You have a service do that? It's a disservice to me, you, and everybody! Are they too busy or distracted to figure out that in a closed building the customers might not want to be poisoned too? There's no ventilation in the entire theater, so spray poison should NOT be used. Why couldn't the person responsible for killing cockroaches consider the health of the theater's patrons? I hope that someone ventilates the theater before I come back again. I'd really like to think that I could see a movie without compromising my immune system by breathing bug poison spray!...
Read moreThis was not a visit to the Cinema. The event was actually a " Christmas Festival " on Lancaster Boulevard, in Lancaster California. It was a lot of fun! There were beautiful decorations everywhere and festive music playing for everyone to hear. To mention just a few of the highlights of stilt walkers, a petting zoo with a wonderful assortment of animals, terrific vendors selling home made items, a train for the children to ride on and of course, Santa Claus does not even begin to describe the evening. Most of resident shop owners and restaurants were open for the celebration. Visitors were smiling and socializing while taking pictures at the many, many photo opportunities such as, holiday ice sculptures and giant Nut Crackers, to name a few. I had a great time with some of my family members. The only downside was, there may have been too many people and my oldest daughter was not with us. Lancaster gave a great gift to...
