Today I was greeted by the service desk for a return with a grimace and told of the many ways of how I could NOT be assisted with my request instead of what could be done for the sake of customer service. They could not run my card to pull up my recent purchase. They could not give me full price back for the items I just paid for. I completed a purchase two hours prior that I regretfully had to return. I mistakenly left my receipt at home and was told that I could not leave the heavy items with the front desk while I left momentarily to retrieve it. They threw policy at me instead of helping to find a resolution. I would’ve happily accepted store credit for the full price of what I paid. But this was yet again not an option. I was told that I needed to apologize to them for expressing my displeasure in their customer service. I do not claim to have responded in the best way that I could and took responsibility for this as they demanded I do so. They humiliated me. When I returned with my receipt I was not offered cash back for my debit purchase and told that this could not be reversed. I’m astounded at the level of service I received today at this location. I do not pretend to have all of the answers and resolutions but being on the receiving end of customer service in this scenario has left me quite embarrassed and upset. I thanked them for completing the transaction and was met with silence. Not even a simple “you’re welcome” after everything. What ever happened to being humble and finding a happy medium resolution for the customer?...
Read moreI love target, I’m there at least 3 times a week and spending generously, i live near the Largo target. I stop by after work for groceries, my small business, items to decorate my apartment, and to get items for my dog. It’s just I can’t help but notice every-time I come in there isn’t security at the door, but when I am leaving there is a security officer at the door. Every single time, I am there at least 3 times a week! This is something I noticed because I used to work at target for years before I graduated college. I know what code 6 is, I know what the cameras look like in the security room as I have had to help hold people there when they would steal from out store. I know I am being racially profiled I’ve even recorded it, no one at the front when I walk in, security at the door when I am leaving out. I will not spend another dime at Target and I am removing my subscription to their membership as my treatment is not fair, and obviously my money is no good for Target. All these years I have worked and shopped at target and I’m treated like a criminal every time I come in. Like I wouldn’t notice, I’m there damn near every day. This loyal customer will be taking her...
Read moreI just experienced a case of discrimination with the manager Magen. I attempted to use coupons for my purchase and she told me I can only use so many in one day (4). I told her someone else was using the additional coupons she assumed we were together because we were black and turned my purchase down. I let her know he was paying with his own coupons she refused and told us we are in the same household again we are black we are not in the same household. She then said that is not what household means. And I told her it was discrimination. She asked to be kicked out of their target and asked to call security because I disagreed with her and didn't approve of her adding myself and my coworker in one household. I did report her and let them know that just because we are black and checking out near each other doesn't mean we are in the same household household. Not only was she racist and made a statement that said clear we were together. the boy she was trained jumped in the conversation as well and told us to shut up. I refuse to ever be talked to in such away. Corporate will know that this store has racists...
