After hearing about the 2.25 item special on Thursday and how you need to get there before opening to get first access at the new items placed on the floor, I decided to plan a trip. I arrived around 7 and got in line at 8 and only saw a no more than 5 people which was a great sign. By the time the store opened, myself and the people that started the line ended up in the back because a group of ladies walked in front of us and started another line and tied carts together so we had to walk around. As the store opened, I walked to the front to explain to the manager,Ari what the ladies had done, she ignored my statement and the statements of the other folks I was in line with. I then spoke to an employee, Chris regarding the same issue and was given the corporate number. After walking around the store, I began to notice the manager, Ari interacting with many of the ladies that cut everyone else in line.

From a legal perspective:

  1. she disregarded my complaint and the complaint of others that waited in line.

  2. the ladies that cut the line told Ari that I cut in line and she sent me to the back making this a biased issue.

  3. She wouldnt report the incident because she is involved in a conflict of interest. I.e allowing the ladies she knows to cut the line and bring the store money or reporting the incident and possibly having to remove the ladies from the store.

  4. Ari allowed the ladies to harrass and intimidate other shoppers who were standing in front of the door where items were being placed on the floor

Ari needs to be reprimanded and removed from a managerial position and all park Avenue...

I'm an avid thrifter so I don't mind digging and hunting for a good deal. Nothing over $2.25 in this store (even shoes, bags of books, luggage, purses, linens). I have visited this store probably 30 times in the last calendar year (I'm a reseller online). Another reviewer mentioned security offers there regularly. I have literally only seen an officer one time ever. But other reviewers are correct about people "camping out" all day with multiple shopping carts. It is a little annoying only because the store only has so much space to accommodate everyone. I will visit this store again and again because of the great pricing. You find good brands (LOFT, Banana Republic, LL Bean, etc.) and vintage pieces. Every so often I find shoes for resale but most shoes and purses are trashed. Whatever you do DO NOT use the restrooms here. They are disgusting. I had my 3 year old son with me today and he HAD to use their restrooms. It was worse than I remembered. Only one stall was working. Brown water all over the floor. NO soap (there's not even a soap dispenser so I guess they never have soap) and no mirror. I suspect they keep it gross so people arent tempted to use it to try on clothes. As someone else mentioned there are no fitting rooms. Carts have trash (usually just paper) in them most times. This store is an outlet for a chain of thrift stores, so everything here is what didn't sell at their other stores. All new inventory every Thursday (best day). Typical thrift store smell. Customer service with a smile is definitely not their "thing", but I'm okay with that because low prices ARE...

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the most chaotic thrift store I have even been to. The patrons are very aggressive and stand next to the back dock doors and wait for the associates to bring merchandise out, then they practically tackle the things out of their hand before they could even bring it out! It is so unorganized and poorly ran. I feel so bad for the workers because half don’t speak English and are being bombarded by people they can’t even adequately do their job. Honestly that store needs security and all new management to start addressing the toxic shopping environment. You can’t even tell who works there and who doesn’t because of the people standing right next to the dock door trying to hog everything into their multiple carts covered by blankets! I would never recommend anyone go here. I wasted and 1 hour and 30 minutes to get there and drove all the way back and the worst traffic of my life for nothing. Definitely not an ideal shopping experience with those...

This place was wild..I mean of course I want to be assaulted over a 75 cents shirt or...hear me out ..potentially loose my life. These women that come here to shop, they have harnessed the power of their spirit animals aggression. So tread carefully. But I think it's cute. Let's throw things on the floor and roll our carts over them. Let's block the isles. Let's behave poorly. Let's let our kids run around and scream. This isn't Nordstrom's sacks or Dillard ...so I understand and appreciate the environment. Overall I found some pretty decent stuff. If you buy the plates you have to buy the entire bag of plates. You can't rip the bag. Come here with Vaseline on your face, your hair tied back, brass knuckles and Kleenex - it's a bit dirty but I had fun! Also maybe come early. Tuesday everything is 75cents. I came in Friday and everything was two bucks!

I've been going to this thrift for 8 years now and I must say that it is definitely worth shopping here. Since Wednesday is the cheapest day sometimes it's difficult to find nice things, of course. They restock every Thursday. People tend to become territorial and sometimes bombard in this thrift considering the prices. Pay no attention, they're just excited. If you're anything like me and like to spend some time in the store but want to be able to use the restroom, I would suggest going somewhere else in case you're looking to use a clean one. Ive added a photo of the updated pricing. Enjoy!
