A tag fell off an item that we wanted to purchase so we brought it up with the item. After explaining this to cashier she said "well, we'll have to double check that." And called for a manager over the intercom. Manager was talking on the phone and then walked to another employee and talked with them while we decided to go get the same item with the tag still on it. Had time to go all the way to the other side of the store, get the item and get back before the manager finally decided to come and verify an item that was 9.99. I let the manager know that we would like the original item with no tag (since the other one had a dent in it) but brought the one up as proof that we werent lying (awful to make your customers feel accused) and she took the item we wanted because of a "system error" (keep in mind it was an identical item and identical tag that we brought up). We let both the associate and manager know that their treatment was poor and that having no trust in their customers is bogus. Read moreThis review is only for the rude cashier that was there yesterday, she was a younger looking cashier that was in the register near the fake flowers decorations, i was standing in line waiting and she was purposely going very very slow putting things on the bag. I saw her staring at me at the same time, when she was done with the customer in front of me she didn't say anything grab my item and was looking at me very rude i just decided not to let her scan my items and decided to go to another line after telling her i was going to grab another item and didn't want her to scan my items, i left and she kept staring at me in a very rude way and i believe she said something because the customer in back of me turned around to look. I went to another line with another young lady who was very polite.

Read moreI bought about 20 items totaling approximately $40. The total was higher than what I expected so as I loaded the items in my car I checked the receipt and realized I had been charged for two items, totaling $3.50 were not given to me. I went back in the store to see if the items were left or if I could get a refund for the overcharge I spent 35 minutes waiting for cameras to be checked and they did not show where my items went and I was told that I as responsible for the items once I left the store. I went to my car, realized the items were missing and returned right away. The items were less than 10% of my total but the manager, assistant manager and cashier all just acted like clueless robots. I wasted almost an hour total. Didn’t get my items and didn’t get a refund. I don’t know how they’re in business. If I had a $3 discrepancy with a regular customer I would make it right! No they made a dozen customers wait in line and sent me away empty handed. I will shop hobby lobby online or in the next city but I will not return to the Layton Hobby...
