I usually don’t leave reviews but I had an awful experience here. I was with my spouse and we were picking decor. Now we took our time and found a great one to hang up. As we made our way to the front I got distracted by the keychains :) I was looking and was excited about a few characters and didn’t hear the cashier ask if I was ready. Usually when someone is ready they would come up to the counter- whereas I was just hovering close by but not looking like I was ready. She spoke to me in a very rude tone and then a very kind and almost flirty tone with my spouse. This confused me. I was getting ready to hand her the poster that we chose (because last time the cashier rung us up for posters he took them across the counter and rung them up) and was looking for the code to scan so it would be easy for her to access. She rudely turned the scanner to me and said “the codes on the back” no smile or anything then smiled at my spouse.. I took the scanner and scanned it but never once did she smile at me. I don’t know what I did. To describe her- she had thin eyebrows that’s all I remember. But she really ruined my night. I was having a pretty bad day and my spouse brought me there to cheer me up and it was working- until this moment, I then cried in the car- I don’t know what I did to make her act that way towards me; it was unwarranted. I hope Entertainmart can work on their hospitality and kindness toward people who are a little distracted and just excited...
Read moreI usually don't have a problem with this store or it's employees, but the interaction I had with an employee today has left a bad taste in my mouth. I went in looking for a copy of a manga that I couldn't find elsewhere. When I went to ask the employee if he could tell me if they had one, he acted like I had ruined his whole day because he had to look something up instead of making buttons. They didn't end up having it but while I was there I noticed a figurine I'd been wanting was on sale for $14.99 instead of it's usual $29.99. I took it up to checkout and I watch him pull the $14.99 sticker off, claiming it wasn't for that figurine but a different character from the show and someone put that sticker over the actual price, he was definitely trying to accuse me or my boyfriend of it from his tone. He was also completely ignoring the bright orange SALE sticker that was slapped on it as well. I don't know if he was trying to pull a fast one on me and make me pay full price or if another employee was being lazy and didn't make the right label for all the figurines. But, pretty much every figurine from this anime was on sale because they'd been there for months (it's not a very popular anime), so I doubt this character wasn't included. I'm not fond of being made to feel like a bad guy when I did nothing wrong. So, here's your warning make sure the label on whatever you want to buy is the right one or they'll act like you're trying to...
Read moreI only go here for kpop stuff so I don't know much about the other products, but I know that their kpop photocards are WAY overpriced! Old Twice concept photocards are NOT worth $10 - only a POB or some other non-standard-album photocard, especially not a concept photocard, would be worth that much. Seventeen Carat version binder photocards are literally only worth 50 cents, NOT $2. They need to hire someone who actually understands photocard pricing so they can stop selling overpriced cards. They also don't take good care of their photocards and I even came across some that weren't sleeved and had a price sticker directly on the card! The staff are mostly fine, but there is one employee my friends and I have had consistently bad experiences with. My friend has social anxiety and this employee was rushing her and being rude to her while she was trying to shop and ended up triggering her anxiety. I went to EntertainMart with another friend to buy some photocards later and this same employee was judging us and assuming things about us while we were looking through the cards and was overall rude and out of line. Y'all need to hire some actual kpop stans and hire people who actually understand...
