Been coming to this location for well over a decade and grew up down the street. Michelle was one of the most unfriendly and non helpful manager I have ever dealt with. I will take my business else where from here on out. She was training an employee and told me that I must exchange because I didn't have a receipt I couldn't be given in-store credit I was then told by the training associate but I need to have a receipt it was the policy and I asked for a copy of the policy I was told to look it up myself on the website. I did and it said I was entitled to a voucher in-store credit. I do not understand why Michelle lied and then did not even come over to apologize. I understand they are busy with super bowl stuff but when a customer needs help you help the customer. I asked about shirt and she told me she only had two of the kinds in stock and then proceeds to pull out a third kind and says it just got delivered. I understand that she doesn't want to get in the habit of pulling boxes out the back but I do not appreciate being lied to. This is not how you treat a customer! I was given tickets to a royals game in the divisional round in 2015 by the CFO. I will forever be grateful but after all the times of dealing with online orders not being available to pick up when I get there and now the customer service is completely lacking I have to find somewhere...
Read moreI am singling out a specific employee, Amanda, for going above and beyond to solve a frustrating experience with an on-line purchase. I was able to purchase two of my four items at Kansas Sampler/Rally House this past Friday. Amanda placed the on-line order at her store to complete the order and followed up with an email containing all the correct information
When I returned home, I saw the fulfillment center had an incorrect address for shipping, and not the one Amanda had submitted. I spent a little over 2 hours on the phone trying to get the correction made and came to the conclusion that from the AI automated system to getting passed from one customer service center rep to the next, to having to pay twice and then wait for a refund...the system SUCKS!
Today, I returned to Kansas Sampler/Rally House with all my documentation. Amanda then took charge and navigated the crazy labyrinth of the KS/RH system, spending well over an hour to fix the order and confirm 1) refund 2) shipment of complete order.
Amanda deserves 5 Stars+ and the KS/RH customer service portal earned, to their credit a -5 Stars for their convoluted AI system.

Read moreThis is a very nice Kansas Sampler/Rally House. Probably the largest selection in the city. 2-3 times the size of most other retail stores in the area. They have a large selection Mizzou, KU, kState, KC Chiefs, Royals gear. The majority of it is clothing or clothing type items. They also have lounge wear, pajamas, etc. I'm addition, they have a section near the front of the store that has some other local brands like Charlie Hustle t-shirts, Boulevard brewery, Tom's town, Regier, and just Kansas City themed items. They also carry smaller items near the point of sale, face tattoos, whistles, koozies, arena appropriate handbags (clear), beads, cute reusable bags with local pictures on them. They even have Andre's chocolate covered almonds, one of my favs! They're located in the strip mall just down from TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack, so if you don't find a gift here, or need something to add to it, you're very close to other options. Lots of parking and the store is rarely busy. Like most Rally Houses, prices are high, just expect that going in as the previous reviewer noted, as well.
