Quest Kayak — Attraction in Lewes

While my kids had a blast on the water mat, I will never do business with them again. My MIL rented a mat for 7/5. I called 7/4 to add another one. I asked if my MIL had paid yet and the owner matt answered no. I said ok no problem, i will be for it in full. $150. After this i called my MIL to let her know the other mat was paid for and that i paid the full total. She told me she had already paid Matt the day of her booking. When I called matt back immediately after he confirmed with his staff that they made a mistake and my MIL did pay her half. He said he would have his driver bring me a check when they dropped the mats off. That didnt happen. They were going to come back with a check. That didnt happen. I was going to stop in on my way off the beach however it was pouring down rain and car full of kids. At the time i also didnt know where they were located. I called the next day and he assured me he would mail a check to my home. Weeks later still nothing. I call back again and again he said he would mail me a check to text him my info. I did. Still nothing. Ive given up on my $75 refund that i will never see. I will take the loss and never do business...

In August I rented a 6x12 floating mat for a week in Lewis Beach. I called them and reserved a mat to be delivered on a Sunday morning and picked up the following Friday. Per their web page the weekly rental was listed as $350. The reservation and delivery address was done over the phone. The mat was delivered on time. There were no issues with the rental until I noticed that my charge card was charged $500. Upon questioning why the price was $500. They told me that the web page was in error, the price had increased, and the web page was being updated. (Yes my error, I never confirmed with them that the price was as documented in their webpage) It is now almost 3 months later and their webpage still indicates a price of $350 for a week rental of a 6x12 mat. If you must do business with them be careful of getting the price in writing before agreeing to anything. They get a 2 star rating only because there was no issues with the actual mat which...

The service here was incredible. I was coming in a bit before the season, but Matt was happy to accommodate. He was flexible with our schedule up until the day-of and was incredibly communicative about the conditions of the water and the weather. He asked us about our experience kayaking and what we were looking for to get an idea of the best route for us. He dropped us off in a great location, gave us directions, and told us a couple of points where we could paddle to shore and give him a call to pick us up. He did not rush us and also made sure we were safe. Sure enough, we brought the kayaks onto the beach and he was in the parking lot and running(!) to get the kayaks from us minutes after we called him.
