Walgreens — Attraction in Leyden Township

The pharmacy used to have an older white gentleman that retired he was great but there is this indian or Hindu guy thats a jerk he acts like he hates everybody and im not the only person that says that. He doesn't want to take care of u, he makes u wait at the register forever even if he isnt do anything then he acts like he is above the customers and he is so condescending. If he hates his job so much then he should do something else. I have complained but the Manager doesn't do anything cuz the Manager is some young guy thats scared to correct any of the employees cuz he is to young to be in a position of power and just completely to weak for that position and im just being honest. I drive 3 miles farther just to avoid that ridiculous store cuz its always something when i go there so i drive completely out of my way to avoid it thats how bad it is. Dont get me wrong there are a few employees that are awesome at there job its mainly the young manager and the angry non inviting indian or hindu at the pharmacy and im recovering from 2 major surgeries and its obvious to anyone that sees me cuz i use a cain to help walk until i completely heal and he acts like that to me and he is a pharmacist. So do yourself a favor and avoid the pharmacy if u have to go there but i recommend u go to the other closest...

This Walgreens can be an absolute joke, the Pharmacy in particular. Every time I go there someone is complaining about the incompetence of the people handing out the prescriptions, then what makes it even worse is the line, because they are all too busy laughing behind the counter and texting along with being ignorant when you have a question about the medication you are taking.. Are you serious?? What took it over the top for me was the waiting for someone to pick up my call, I do understand the world doesn't revolve around me like many other entitled people that are out there think it does, but when I called twice on 7/7/2025, here is what happened, I waited approximately 14 minutes the first time, and then they dropped the call. Then called back and waited even longer over 20 minutes, ( I screenshot how long I waited both times for your viewing). They would pick up and put you back on hold during the second time trying. I am not sure what is happening there, these complaints are too many as I read reviews, but as for everything else, nothing will be done it's a sad state of affairs we are in right now.. Finally got through, the woman was pleasant to speak too Alex was her name Thank you.. Words of encouragement for the rest of the team excluding Alex.. " Get it...

Crazy place. Has been waiting more than hour and a half to fill out prescription. The guy behind pharmacy counter was more concerned about his hair style than about people passing out in line. Being in severe pain and afraid I'm gonna hit the floor there, I have to leave line sit down and drink some water. Turn out pain medication was entered twice by mistake, insurance refused to pay for it because of that. They have to call insurance to no avail at 11 p.m and offered me a choice either to pay full price for it, which is 12 x more than the price with insurance, or come back next morning. I agreed to endure pain trough the night if they give me second prescribed medication. Meanwhile , I had a situation to attend at home and to wait another half of hour for the darn 5 pills! By the end I just want to get home, so I left behind both change from my money and the receipt. I understand they are busy, but this is ridiculous! In good faith cannot...
