I stopped in to see if they did alignments. I didn’t ask, but they said they could get me right away after waiting for an hour. My car was still sitting in the parking lot. They were very friendly, while I was waiting someone came out and told me my place in line had accidentally being cancel and received a text message that my car was done. I didn’t think any of it, until I waited for an hour and I saw two people come being helped that were walk ins and their car was worked on before me. If they had an emergency I completely understand, just tell me that “hey this guy needs to be at x place really soon can we help him first?” I get it and I would completely be okay with that. But don’t make me wait one hour before you even look at my car. I know my $99 alignment is not a profitable as getting tires but I come to you guys for that too. Read moreI called Discount Tire to set up an alignment check and possibly get my tires balanced due to vibrations in my steering wheel. When scheduling the appointment, I specifically mentioned that I might have a ball joint issue.
After picking up my truck, I found out they only balanced the tires—no alignment check was done. Then they casually told me I have “significant play” in a ball joint but that they don’t do repairs because they’re just a tire shop. Had they told me this when I scheduled the appointment, I wouldn’t have wasted my time and money at a place that couldn’t actually fix the problem.

Read moreThis all happened over a 4 week period of having my tire. Incorrectly told me how to measure my rim to see what I needed. Forgot to order the rim for over a week once we figured out what we did need. Lost my lugnut so they couldn’t even tell me what I needed for replacement. Finally admitted to losing my lugnut after they told me they had ordered replacements. Misquoted me by over $40. I ended up ordering lugnuts online after they lost the one I gave them and of course didn’t discount anything or give me the price I was quoted at the start. I asked if I had done something wrong in the way about doing this and the guy said it was 100% on them.
