Office Depot — Attraction in Little Rock

I have used Office Depot print services for years with no issues. I work for a nonprofit and so funds are tight. We had a large banner printed for an event with a specific number of grommet holes to ensure it can be hung properly (it's a tall banner as opposed to horizontal and the support on the extra holes really matters). We of course wait as long as we can to order since they offer next day pick up and we want to give sponsors as long as possible to sign up for our fundraiser. Banner was picked up, brought to the event and it turns out they forgot to do the extra grommet holes. The result was we couldn't hang the banner properly. It looked horrible. No time to get a new one printed so we had to use it. One of the existing holes tore and honestly the quality was really poor compared to what I had received in the past. I contacted Office Depot online and they said I needed to bring the banner to the store so I did and they would only offer a $2 refund for the grommet holes, nothing towards the banner ($110). This has soured me on Office Depot. If I can't depend on them to either deliver what was promised or take meaningful steps towards making it right when they don't, then I will have to take my business elsewhere. 2 stars because before now I would have recommended Office...

On April 14, 2021, my HP 8720 printer (only 2 years old) literally stopped working. Yes. I maintain my printers by conducting the maintenance as required by HP. I went into Office Depot on Markham feeling busted, disgusted and stressed. However, Caitlin Neal (manager at the time), along with Alissa and John was very passionate and patient in helping me choose a printer. And assisted me in purchasing the Allstate Protection Plan.

Fast forward today, Saturday, June 11, I went into Office Depot on Markham, (and again) I was taken care of with pure professionalism, patience, and expeditiously with care. But, this time by Sally and Brian (manager). I must add that two nights prior I spoke to Ron (manager) to discuss my options in regards to the best printer he could recommend that was NOT an HP printer. He did a great job. This is a one star review only because zero/negative stars isn’t an option. The staff was indifferent and borderline rude when asked about desk availability, then when we were told all items we were interested in were out of stock, we were told displays weren’t for sale. Fair enough I suppose. Then they said they were getting in a large shipment of desks on Monday. So we waited until mid afternoon, couldn’t find anyone to help, so we looked for someone we might have recognized from last trip. We found the manager and asked for his help with desks, he then said the shipment hadn’t even left yet in an indifferent tone.
