I have shopped at many different kid-to-kid stores and love them but a few days ago I had a bad experience at the Logan location.
When I dropped off I asked an employee named Abby, (or Allie- no name tags) about how much they typically pay for the different clothes (shirts, pants, snow suits etc) she said she was unable to tell me but that after my list of buys were finalized we could take one off at a time to see (she specified that I would need to do it within 5 min of the order being completed because they cant move on to the next order without it being finalized.) I wrote down my name and number on a paper so they could contact me and agreeing that I wanted to sell my items and use in store credit with the funds. They called me when my order was complete and I told them I wouldnât make it within the 5 min but that they could finish the transaction and I would take whatever credit to what they had decided to buy. When I got there a couple hours later to do my own shopping Abby came up to me upset about the situation and was rude about the entire thing. I tried to defend myself and tell her I had called in 2 days before and was told I could drop off and pickup later and that I misunderstood what the 5 min rule was for. She completely cut me off and wouldnât let me explain myself, I didnât want to cause a scene so I just walked away to do my shopping. I wondered if I had exaggerated in my mind how rude and heated she had been until near the end of my shopping, a mother in the back play area of the store asked me why the employee had chewed me out. I explained I hadnât made it there within the 5 min. She then explained she was waiting in store for hers to get completed because of the 5 min limit and she had been checking in but they had been delaying her order. When she arrived she was told 45 min but they still werenât done at 1 hr. I assume Abby was the manager that day, it appears that she doesnât hold the same expectations for herself as she does for her customers. They seem to have different policies based on the situation (rather confusing, maybe a print out is needed?) Also, corrections can be done in a kind way. All the other employees were very kind, she was downright rude. So long as Abby is working there I will take my business and encourage others to go to the Logan Divvy up, or a different location. Very...
Read moreGiving over 100 items and getting $18 for them is ridiculous it barely covers the GAS money let alone to get some new clothes for my kids! who will now go without winter clothes because $18 is not going to get them anything!! so I guess thanks for taking my kids clothes and not even giving me even 20% of their worth.. I even threw in a $20 Halloween costume that was still in the package unused bought days agoâŚ. giving them clothes is a scam and a rip off!! Now letâs do some math here I gave over 60 onsies! On Amazon they sell in a pack usually around $20 just the onsies alone doing 20% value would of been $48 BUT!!! I also gave them some other clothes as well like come on $18 is nothing right now!!! majority of the clothes where brand new never been worn!!! now I donât have any clothes to try and sell to get some money for new clothes you have taken all of my clothes I had and I CANT GET THEM BACK!!! you also processed them while I WASNâT there even tho you said you would process them Monday but yet emailed me AFTER!!store hours saying they where processed⌠seems kinda fishy you did that also here is a photo of the big bin full that I took in and got only $18 for!? And NO I was not expecting a huge payout for them but I believe they were worth more than $18⌠THANKS again for taking what I had to get my kids more clothes that fit!! I could have sold them myself and gotten way more than $18 DISHONOR on this store!!!
UPDATE!!! THANKS since you want to reply back to me and not explain why I only got $18 for this also I would have waited in store but your store had over an hour wait!! I got there at 5pm your store also closes at 6!!!! I also was going to be in store Monday thatâs when you said you would go through them!! if you didnât have time clearly you didnât to me so I was fine with waiting but for some reason you had time after hours!!! to process all my stuff without me there at 7:24 nearly over an hour after closing so explain that to me why I should of gone into your store and waited??? Over an hour after closing !?? AlsoI have small children and cannot wait in store for that long reason I was coming back...
Read moreI had an amazing experience with them! I heard they were buying clothes so I decided to give it a go. I had everything freshly laundered, laid them all flat, and put them in a giant laundry basket. They only accept clothes that are in great condition (no stains, holes, pilling, etc.). I took them in, signed up, and was told theyâd get back to me in 7-10 days. During the signup process, they ask if you would like the clothes/items that they donât want given back to you or if you would like to donate them (they donate them to local foster kids in the valley). I opted for donating the clothes to kids in need. I was also asked if I wanted cash back for the clothes or 20% more back for in-store credit. They donât open until October so I got cash. They let me look around though and they have darling clothes and items for sale! The selling process was easy and it took them 6 days to get back to me (from Wednesday to Monday). Iâm pleased with the amount I got for the clothes they did take. The store is clean, well organized, and the staff are so kind and helpful. I canât wait until they open; I will continue buying and selling from them.
Side note: if youâre selling items that you want to get a lot of money back for, just post it on Facebook Marketplace. This store, especially since theyâre not open yet, canât fork out near the amount that you had originally paid. They donât resell those items near original price either so to assume they would, is kind of ridiculous. I was holding onto baby and toddler clothes (some brand new) and didnât want to deal with posting them online so for me, it was worth it to sell and then have them donate directly to foster kids. Just know that if they donât keep the items, they are going to a great cause and will be well-loved by little ones that donât have much of...
