This was an excellent place. My girlfriend and I spent about a month looking for jewelry shops to get engagement rings. We went to shops in Seal Beach, Long Beach, and even South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. One of our priorities in getting rings was to make them custom-designed based on what we wanted. However, many of the shops in our radius were either too expensive, or they did not really offer custom designs besides what they already had in their stores. I found this Blue Diamond Jeweler on 2nd Street in Long Beach, and my girlfriend and I decided to check out the shop. We spoke with Debbie about getting custom engagement rings, and she was very helpful. She showed us examples of CADs (Computer-Aided Designs) of rings they made before, and how the designer Altaf is very kind to customers and hands-on in helping people get an idea of what they want out of their rings. We came back the next week to meet with Altaf in person. He was very nice and friendly, and drew out some sketches. He drew out a custom ring that my girlfriend really loved, and she knew that was what she wanted. He requested an artistic designer in the store named Arya to come and help draw out some other ideas. Arya gave some sketches for my ring, and after some time I picked what I wanted my ring to be from one of her sketches. We came back the next week to look at CADs and see if any adjustments needed to be made. My ring needed 1 small adjustment, while my girlfriend's ring needed a couple. We also discussed with Altaf the price, and it was very affordable for both of our rings. We came back in the following week to see the final CADs. The next week we came back in to pick up both of the rings and make the payment. Altaf gave a great idea of giving her ring to me, and my ring to her. That way when we proposed, I would see mine for the first time and she would see her ring for the first time at the proposal. After that, Altaf and the store manager sat down with us and poured us all glasses of wine to give a toast and chat. I can now say that Emily and I are engaged, and we proposed to each other with the rings we designed together, and it was wonderful. Thank you Debbie and Altaf for making the perfect ring for my perfect guy. Debbie went above and beyond by keeping me informed on ring status AND delivering my ring because we forgot to pick it up haha. She's a lifesaver!

2nd visit. 7/1/18 Debbie had my rings cleaned while I explained how I wanted my wedding band and engagement ring merged together. My rings look brand new. I love this place, Debbie has made me a customer for life with her attention to detail and warm personality. 3rd visit 7/16/18 It actually started on Thursday with Ben calling me that my ring was done. I wasn't able to pick it up right away. Debbie then sent me pictures of the ring all angles. She made sure the job was done exactly how I wanted. Although the exact design was different than discussed I liked this design better! Abi and Altaf even adjusted the price to make sure I walked out a happy customer. Debbie then did a follow up message with me to make sure I was happy since she couldn't be there to handle it herself. I wish I could give this place 10 gold stars!!! Let me just start by saying, this was by far the best experience at a jewelry store my wife and I have experienced! Highly recommend!!!

My wife and I have been married 10 years!!! So it was time for an upgrade! We spent a lot of time researching on where to trade in her ring and I'm sure you have experienced the low offers at different jewelry stores, we tried getting quotes online like Worthy and even pawn shops (not worth it at all) it was becoming very disappointing on the ridiculous offer values I was being given and was loosing hope to trade the ring. I found Blue Diamond on Google, I gave them a call and spoke with Altaf, I explained the situation and he was very welcoming and very happy to help with trading in my wife's ring for a new one.

Due to the covid-19, he set us up with an appointment right away and we went to his Long Beach location, we drove from Riverside, We met with Abi, from the moment we walked in we were greeted with excellent customer service, most places we usually just get "a look"...lol... Abi took the time to show us options of what my wife wanted, and also showed us similar rings that might catch our interest, what we loved about her is that she was very patient and very helpful, was not pushy about selling us just anything.

The trade in value for my wife's old ring was a very good fair offer, better than most places, in this case all for us!
