I recently had a fraudulent charge on my debit card, the person who stole my information used the card to make a purchase of $495.00 at Blue Rooster Art Supply. I then reached out to Blue Rooster and explained my situation to them. The person who answered the phone was Tuesday, right from the beginning she was exceptionally nice and was super understanding of my situation. She called me back later that day and explained she had found the order, notified her manager, and let me know the order would be canceled. The next day I received a phone call from the manager, Nick Gallow. He also reassured me that the order would be canceled, then offered me the information that was entered for the shipping address and email. Blue Rooster Supplies is an art store focused on canvases, brushes, paints, paper and illustration tools. They operated in 2003 and has been managed by the same owner since its inception. It is located at Hollywood blvd and Vermont ave on Easy Hollywood neighborhood. This art store is well organized and neat. They have a vast art related materials from pencils to fine paint brushes to sketch books etc. I came here to grab silk screen related materials. Prices were fair. Street metered parking only. Blue rooster art supplies has been the go to place where I get my art supplies and my pens. It is across the street from Fleas’ Silver Lake Conservatory of Music and a block east of Vermont Ave on Hollywood Blvd.

I love their pen selection and also the water color pigments.

They also ship and their prices are pretty competitive although I don’t think they offer a student discount like blick.
