Echo Park Barber Shop.... — Attraction in Los Angeles

Took my best friend who had dementia in there today and Cecilia the barber was awesome. Very professional and funny. Fast and only charged $15 for a haircut and beard trim!!!! Very small and only one barber chair!!! Open door letting nice breeze on a hot day on LA. She offered us bottled water and when she was done my buddy looked a like a brand new man and he was very happy, grinning ear to ear. I live in West Covina and my buddy lives in Silverlake, a couple miles away but I live that part of LA especially since West Covina is so bland and boring. We will definitely go...

What every neighborhood barbershop should be. I've dropped by and gotten great hair cuts (long top, taper sides and back) for years. It's a small shop just Cecy, she's friendly, easy going, and takes her time. She keeps prices low and affordable. Takes walk-ins. I used to go to babershops where prices range from $30-60 until I found this place. It's also dope that her dad used to own the shop, and she took it over and kept it going when he retired....

I just stopped by to get a quick haircut and Cecilia did an amazing job. Gave me the exact cut that I wanted despite my poor description. She was efficient but gentle. Not to mention she was extremely friendly, funny, and welcoming. Cozy little place with a lot of history behind it.
