If a friend visits LA and can only have one meal, where would you take them?

This places comes by my apartments once a week and I decided that yesterday was a good time to try. I called the number and they were very nice. Very helpful when it came to ordering and made it easy. Upon arrival there was a line of people waiting but good thing I ordered early because my order was already ready. It was only one people working trying to get the food out. The food was good. There was a few issues. The garlic fried rice was hard as if the rice was old. As if it was reheated or recooked but it was definitely old. It was good no doubt but I could not get over the texture that you get from old rice that has been out for a while and gotten hard. The ramen noodles lacked in flavor a bit. And some were so burnt they were black and hard. The salmon for some reason was spicy. I don’t know why or what was put on the fish, but it was too spicy for my husband and I to eat so we ended up eating around it. My husband said maybe they put chilli oil on it because it didn’t have much flavor but was just spicy. As for the chicken. The chicken was the best chicken I have had. It was juicy and delicious. Tender and the best part of the meal. They definitely know how to cook chicken very well. Everything else needed work. I would have complained and gotten my money back for the fish and rice but the apartments did give us a $10.00 off so I didn’t want to fuss but I still spent $40.00 on food that I couldn’t tear at the end of the day. Also it’s very oily. I would say lighten up on the oil, add more flavor to the noodles and please unless you specify that something is spicy please do not make your fish spicy.

This was the second time I had eaten at this food truck. I ordered a full portion of the steak and chicken with garlic fried rice. The food is delicious and they give generous portions of food. It could easily have fed two people and I even had enough left over for dinner. The menu offers a wide variety of options and is priced fairly. The food truck also clearly shows their pricing and provides plenty of pictures to give you an idea of what their food looks like. The staff is also very friendly and they got my food to me in not much time at all. I’d highly recommend this food truck to anyone craving Japanese Hibachi.

This comes down to the worst food trunk experience I’ve ever had. I ordered a chicken plate and based on their menu. The full size should cost $21 plus taxes and I decided to add tips to help the small business out. When the lady asked me if I want to “change” steam rice to fried rice I asked what’s the cost of it and she straightly ignored me and started putting my credit card information into her phone and asked me if I want to add $1 tip and I said sure. She never presented the total amount to me or confirmed me with my order, on top of that she never gave me a receipt or even asked me if I wanted a receipt.

A couple minutes later, the food was ready, she started putting sauce into the bag without my permission which made me started feeling a bit sus. Then I checked the amount she charged to my card, it was $7 more than what’s on the menu plus taxes & tips.

I could let it go becuz it’s only $7 but I didn’t. I started questioning her why she didn’t inform me the additional cost for fried rice and added sauces to the order without my permission. She said it’s on the menu.

Well, if you look closely on the menu it does mention about extra cost for the sauces, but did I ask for it? NO. I then asked her about the same experience other people had on Google reviews. Here comes the best part, she said she did not care about those people at all. It literally made me “laugh” so hard, you operate a small food trunk business and you refuse to listen to your customers who put their time into giving you suggestions for things you can improve and you say you don’t care about them at all??

You guys might have good food but the integrity and customer service you have is literally the worst. Well, here comes another customer review you don’t care and good luck with your 2.3...

My husband and I went to the international food fest in riverside Sunday… we were craving hibachi so we ordered from here let me say worst decision ever!!! The first red flag should had been when they told my husband they were only serving full size plate “at the moment” like what?! So we felt force to pay for the full size plate instead of the half plate of spicy chicken and my husband ordered a chicken and shrimp hibachi burrito. While my husband left with our kids as it was pretty hot I waited for the order took a few mins. When the order is being called under my husbands name I approach the window and he’s like (husband name) I said yes he gives me a stare looks around and asks again (husbands name) I said yes! And didn’t want to hand me the food and he takes it back for a min and calls out my husbands name I said it’s mine that’s my husband! I get the order we leave we get home excited to eat our food to only receiving a chicken plate that has regular chicken no spice or spicy sauce at all had ask if I wanted egg my plate had no egg and the serving portion was so small…my husbands burrito was chicken and steak and had beans in it ?! Didn’t know hibachi now puts beans in their food but okay I guess so we were really disappointed on the food quality the service and it was super overpriced $44.10 for 2...
