I had a terrible and uncomfortable experience today. This was my first time ordering from this location. First, it all seemed fine and I had no issues, but I returned after I finished my meal to get a coffee and as I was waiting for my coffee, there was an unhoused person in line to order. I asked him if he wanted something to eat and the woman at the register asked me not to buy him food because he would return. I told her that he was hungry so I was going to buy him food. After I ordered the food for him, she began to tell me that I should never do that again and said that she would not give him the food I paid for until he stepped outside. I want to emphasize that this man was not causing a scene or being resistant or anything like that. He was patiently waiting for the food I had ordered for him. I felt that the staff were incredibly rude and I will DEFINITELY not be returning! I do not understand why they had to be so rude and disrespectful to their customers… just because he was unhoused??? Absolutely ridiculous and not okay. I would consider their behavior to be very racist, classist, and discrimanatory. And the fact that she was scolding me and telling me to never do this again was unnecessary and disrespectful. This man was not causing any harm to anyone. He was simply existing. If you are someone that does not condone this kind of behavior then please DO NOT spend your money here. I left this place in tears because I was so heartbroken at their treatment of this person and also of the way they treated me. Again, I WILL NOT BE BACK. Also, their food is not...

The salads are basic compared to the other offerings in the WaterCourt but aren't bad and it is good to have a reasonable choice for food. Extremely limited indoor seating (2 four-tops, 1 six-top, 9 bar seats) and during the lunch hour, the employees on break take up half the seating and then leave their trash for someone (presumably another employee?) to clean up. Plenty of outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Strangely, no trash cans inside. You need to walk outside to throw away your trash...I guess that is why the employees leave their trash in the...
