The Conservatory Bar — Restaurant in Louisville

Ate on a Saturday night at one of the restaurants (not the swizzle ) After they sit us down they tell the 4 of us there is a 45 minute wait because there is barely enough staffing. 1 chef for 2 restaurants. The food was awful. Two of us had the short rib which had more salt than the Atlantic ocean. Wife got the friend chicken which I can say a fast food restaurant does better. Asked for bread they said they didnt have any. Brought my side salads out with dinner when they should of brought them out right away. They the gal to try to charge us for the salads that come with the meal. The manager was clueless as well as the waitress. Save your money there are way way better places to eat in town. Awesome place to try a few different bourbons, ryes or whiskeys after the distilleries close or the tour tickets were sold out and you couldn’t get one. Stephanie at the conservatory bar was awesome. I asked which high noon flavors they had to take an intermission from the bourbon and Stephanie was about to walk down the whole bar to SHOW me which flavors they had instead of letting me know which flavors they had. 10/10 customer service I’m glad I caught her before she walked down the bar with all the flavors in hand because that is unnecessary but I very much appreciated her thought to show me instead of telling. The Conservatory at the Galt House is a cool spot to grab a drink, relax, and catch a game. The location in the sky bridge gives it a unique vibe, and there’s plenty of seating with multiple large screens playing sports, so it’s great for a group hangout or just unwinding solo. The drinks menu is solid, with a wide selection of liquor to choose from, and you can even order food from Thelma’s right next door, which is super convenient.

The one drawback? The country music. If you’re a fan, you’ll probably love it, but if you’re not, it WILL wear on you after a while. That aside, it’s still a nice place with a lot to offer, especially for sports fans or anyone looking for a relaxed atmosphere in the heart of...
