My husband and I decided to use some of our wedding money to buy a new mattress on Black Friday. While we had a great experience the first time around with the manager of the store, the other 2 experiences were not good what so ever. The store does have a great policy in allowing you to return your mattress within 4 months of purchase in exchange for another one, but the catch is you have to pay $199 fee for the return. Our 2nd and 3rd experience with a different salesman (goes by Blake on the phone and on his receipts, its William), the customer service was very dissatisfying. The 2nd trip to the store involved the exchange. Blake would shout from across the store whenever we looked at a price tag, or try out the bed instead of coming to us and talking to us during our shop. When I had a question, his answers would be generic and would not explain matters if understood. His tone was very degrading and I felt incompetent for not understanding what he was telling us. He set us up with the return and said that we should be expecting a call from the delivery company about setting up the exchange of mattresses. A week goes by and we have not received a call. My husband and I go back to the store and Blake was working again. It was 10:05 and the doors were still locked. Blake opened up the doors in his socks after seeing us waiting. After asking if he remembered us, he replied "yeah, barely." While we explained our situation of not hearing about the delivery he asked "Well, did you give them a call?" I reminded him that we were instructed that we would be receiving a call and we were not given any number for the delivery. He was able to set up the delivery date from his computer and told us we would be receiving a call tomorrow for a delivery time 5 days from now, that is 12 days after we initiated the exchange with the store.
Bottom line: I believe the store has good products, but enter at own risk: you do not know what kind of customer service you...

The Lynchburg store, however, messed up in several ways. Everyone was very kind , but the sales person entered the wrong mattress style so incorrect mattress was delivered. We tried to call. They do not answer their phone. They have an answering machine and did not return messages. Literally had to drive in my car to go to the store so that I could talk to a person re. incorrect mattress delivery . A different sales person made arrangements for my mattresses exchange. I paid the $99 delivery fee, even though you’re supposed get a free first time delivery. I reminded the sales person that it was was their fault that the incorrect mattress was delivered, therefore, I should not have to pay a delivery fee. She said it would be my word against the sales person’s word so I would then have to pay that delivery fee. After one week of having no one contact us to schedule the mattress exchange, I called the corporate office. I had excellent customer service from the corporate office. They kindly refunded that $99 delivery fee and said that the exchange paperwork had never been entered in their system. Another fault of the Lynchburg Store. Corporate office promptly scheduled delivery of the new mattress. Had I not called the corporate office… I would still be sitting around waiting for a mattress exchange that had never been entered into the system. We were happily greeted by Tiffany the moment we walked in the door and they made a sincere promise that they would be with my mother and I as soon as they were finished with their current customer. Tiffany was exceptionally helpful in their knowledge with the brands and pricing, and was honest with their opinions on bases and mattresses for my handicapped mother’s specific needs. I felt zero pressure to buy something we didn’t want and they went out of their way to make sure that we stayed within our budget. Thomas was wonderful, personable, and overall genuinely just happy to help us when it was time for us to finalize our purchase and even scored us a REALLY good deal last minute on an adjustable base (again, it was with zero pressure and not that feeling of trying to get even more money out of us). They saw that the base we had picked out only adjusted the head part of the bed and not the legs and wanted to make sure that was what we wanted, and when we asked what they had for bases that adjusted the entire bed, they happily found us something perfect for a very reasonable price. Overall, we were in and out in less than an hour, the staff mentioned were beyond helpful and made this entire process so simple and easy. I’d give 6 stars if I could.
