Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Lynchburg

Always a great place just wanted to address a negative experience I had tonight.

I do door dash and tonight I was picking up an order and also placed an order for myself.

The problem occurred when I got to the window where you pick up the food. The manager handed me two bags of food and one drink. I should’ve had two drinks. Both bags of food had the name of the door dash customer, but neither had my name.

While still in the drive thru I opened one of the bags out of confusion and then pulled up and told the manager “I don’t think I got the right order because I didn’t order this much stuff.” She then said, as if she were talking to a baby, “that was your door dash order you broke the seal.”

Confused, I showed her the other bag that also had the door dash name on it. I asked her how my door dash order had two bags and also where was my order? And where was the second drink??

It got sorted out in under a minute, but then she had the nerve to ask me “is this your first time in our drive thru?” Like excuse me? First of all, I was there for another order only 30 minutes earlier. Secondly, don’t condescendingly ask me “you new here?” When YOU made the mistake of putting someone else’s name on MY order. Ridiculous. I hope she’s just having a bad night and doesn’t actually treat everyone that poorly all the time, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

And then I had rude people behind me beeping because I had to take extra time to get everything together in my car because it was all so messed up.

Chick fil a, is good. Their food is good.

But if you are reading this its probably to understand the atmosphere of the chick fil a. That said, I'm going to be very blunt and honest. The location is terrible. (That is where they have the chick fil a. Not the chick fil a itself) There is always a line. And you may find yourself waiting in the road especially during high volume hours (lunch and dinner) but you'll never be waiting long. Waiting in a line here never seems to take more than 10 or 15 minutes (and thats when im in the road by the pizza place next door) really they have things down to a science. Everyone works efficiently and smoothly to create a relatively quick food service experience.

This location does NOT offer sit down or in restaurant dining. So if you were intending to take a load off, this location is not for you. But if you intended to go through the drive through this is a pretty good spot.

All in all. I've never had them mess up my order and everyone seems to genuinely enjoy working there, greeting me with a smile and friendly attitude.

Tonight I went to this location and ordered the “super food” salad the “LARGE” size. Well I get it and I look in the bag before pulling off and notice that it is incredibly small. So inside the restaurant I went. After getting into the restaurant I ask for my card to be refunded back because this so called Large Super Food is $4.99. So the girl at the counter looks at it and says is this a large and kinda laughs. The senior leader manager is standing near and says “yes”. So he refunds my money back and I told him that this was sorta ridiculous for the price and the amount of this, he says this is a “specialty Item”. So as I’m walking away the lady ask the same manager what should I do with this he responds and says throw it away. Now, I was not trying to get anything free or half price by all means, but Chick-Fil A I thought was to please the customer.... well now I see this is not true. So... if you get this “Super Food Salad” be aware that it is very very very small and definitely not...
