Oh now let me tell you, I didn’t come here to shop. I mean I would’ve if I wanted but when I saw this place I was so taken in, so breathless by the beauty of it all! I had my little Jack Russell terrier Mandy with me so I originally planned on just driving around a bit then leaving but I was less than five minutes in and I parked the car just to get out and take pictures around that area. And we kept going and going, next thing I knew we were full inside The Legacy Village. We started in alone but that place, if you’re an outgoing type, you make so many friends along the way, whether they’re natives of the area or also visitors too. We started in the late afternoon then in the evening a band started gearing up to play as it was Friday night. Oh my, another fabulous surprise!! By then I was with another friend who was a native of the area. I really envied her that she could come and go from this place anytime she wanted. It was magical to me. But as evening approached it started getting chilly so I asked, is there any stores that sells sweaters that don’t cost an arm and a leg, haha, and luckily there is. Stores for the rich and stores for the modest. U just have to know where to find the ones that nest suits your needs. The band finally took off in full swing and it was amazing, that part was the beginning of the end of my fun filled night as I realized, I had absolutely no idea where I parked my car in this huge wonderland!! I totally started freaking out! So I flagged down the truck that I’d seen driving all over, this guy must patrol the village, I asked him to please watch out for my car while I search for it too. When I told him how I never planned on going further than the car and the beauty of the village drew me in with me not making any note of where I parked my car we both laughed. I think Mandy and I hang to walk at least an hour or hour and a half that place is so huge. So warning to anyone not gone yet, make sure you know where u park your car! So now I’m not only going back to the same hotel, I’m not leaving Beachwood without going back to this beautiful Wonderland of boutiques and shops and restaurants and fantastic...
Read moreOK -the Rack was magnificent however went to Capital Grill and my bill was 52. Which I put on my card and left 9.00 on the table and put an additional 2.00 on my card for a 20% tip in all. However when I checked my transactions -they charged my card 54. At first then charged my card 63. -called the restaurant -and one of the managers said the bank sometimes charge the card 20% -so I called my bank and they stated that that the 54 dollars was charged but an adjustment was made for the 63. And a 10 day whole put on it. Call the restaurant back which the manager apologize and told me that she was going 2 give me 50.00 gift certificate -and will call me the next day and let me know what happened- I never received that call so I called back and another manager told me that only 54. Was put on my card- and they did nothing wrong- I was flabbergasted - and therefore I called my bank back- and they said that the final bill was the 54.00. Conclusion - I gave a 9.00 dollar cash tip and only 2 more dollars on the card- so the 63.00 should never have been put on the card- and I never got the 50.00 gift certificate - and I felt like an idiot - so I called the corporate office and they gave me a 50 gift card and continued 2 be apologetic about my experience- was very nice and I think made the manager give me a call to apologize - haven't been back 2 the restaurant - But will cause I never complained about...
Read moreThe review is for Wild Mango restaurant. Attended for a friend Birthday. I waited to complete review to give a fair rating and not to be judgemental. Upon arrival everyone was not there yet, so hostess seated me in bar area. Since I was not going to order a drink yet, I sat on the nice comfy chair. I liked the design of this place. I liked the chairs and the separate bathrooms with plenty of room for photo shots. I liked the waiters and waitresses all had on same colors. Some had on suit attire with a tie and some did not. The chairs had a place for your purse which slid either way. The cute take home bag, that can be reused. After we were seated we were offered other drinks besides water. Everyone ordered a cocktail. Another person arrived and wanted an Asian Pear and was told they were out of it. So, she ordered what I had the peach mojito. The peach mojito was bitter and minty. We ordered the first course (appetizers). Our waitress was nice and friendly, the birthday person even gave her a gift that she gave all of us and she received tips. I disliked we weren't asked about second cocktails, ordering our main course meal, bread and given bill information of more than 6 everyone is on one bill. These are things we asked for and about. The bill information should be given when reservations are made, so the person can notify their...
