I love Daiso, but the cashier made this visit severely frustrating 💔. Not just this visit, but his constant lack of helpfulness and will to actually work is irritating.
He doesn’t even try to assist customers. When we showed him clear photo 🤳 proof of a sale price, he dismissed it without even checking. Every problem you bring to him, he’ll just stare back with no will…
He hides behind “policies” and his own assumptions about prices instead of taking a minute to verify things, which, honestly, should be basic knowledge for someone in his position 🥀.
Every inconvenience that I run into with him, I ask for his manager because he genuinely doesn’t care. Luckily, everytime, his manager is so kind and her service is wonderful, as to be expected for him 😹 I get second hand embarrassment for him when the manager has to apologize for his behalf as well 🫶
Daiso deserves employees who genuinely want to help (and don’t get me wrong, there are lots of wonderful staff here), not ones who make customers feel like a burden. 😒
He needs retraining 🥳 I’ve seen him brush off other customers too. It’s better for everyone when careless employees like him aren’t the face customers have to...
Read moreGood amount of stuff for such a small place, and so many different types of items! Items range from kids' toys to clothing to pots and pans to food. Some of the products are on the cheap side, not unlike the dollar store, but they are also priced accordingly. Love to go here for art supplies, especially pens and pencil cases. Also a good place to get little gifts- I like to buy a snack and some other little items and put it in one of the cloth bags they sell. It makes a great little gift package! Overall, I love going here because I feel like there's always some fun item to get.
However, the isles are a little small so there can only really be one person per isle. On an accessibility note, I don't think a full wheelchair would fit, however I did see a kid's wheelchair...
Read moreYou get what you pay for. Don't have high expectations for the items you purchase here but enjoy the cheapness, the variety and the cuteness of it all. I usually get the slippers from here because they're cute, comfortable and cheap. Easy to wear indoors and throw away once they're worn out and get dirty. Another good find here is trash cans and laundry baskets. Once in awhile I find some really interesting unique things that I'll give it a try. But like I said, don't expect them to last a long time. I got an umbrella here recently and used it once when it was very windy. That was a very quick way to say goodbye to that umbrella. Will definitely never be buying an umbrella from here again. Otherwise nice to walk around and look at all...
