This is my go to Asian grocery store. Despite being a small store, they have quite a lot stuff at a reasonable price, but they don’t have a lot of choices for meat and vegetables. Whatever I can’t find I’ll go to Kim Nhung. They have a small deli inside the store where they make Vietnamese sandwich (banh mi) and other snacks. They recently tear down the wall from next door and expanded bigger for their rice products. Parking is small and sits right in front of the main road of John R. Friendly owners and employees. One awesome thing is that you get a free 50 pound bag of rice everytime you spend over $36. They will stamp it and you collect your stamped receipt with a retail total of $300.

This place is great to get your vietnamese sub sandwich "banh mi". As far as groceries, they have a lot of fresh greens, but their prices on dry goods tend to be a tad higher than it should be. Go for the sandwiches here! Made fresh when you order!

My favorite Vietnamese market in metro Detroit, especially on Sunday’s they always have fresh desserts, banh mi. Great places to grab those last minute things before the week. Very friendly and welcoming ever time I go.

They had what we needed for the Vietnamese meal that was being prepared for us. Pricing was reasonable. It's a fairly small grocer, but they had an interesting and extensive vegetarian meat substitute section. They even had vegetarian fish in the shadow of a fish. I haven't seen that before. They also had some cooking implements, and a section for shrines and other...

Review is for banh mi. Not bad maybe like 3.5 stars. Authentic flavors overall but could use more meat and the bread should be toasty and warm. The bread itself was solid but not toasted. I also tried the sweet sticky rice with banana and another with taro. Pretty good . I'd come back but miss banh mi...
