It’s an okay mall, I just wish it had more options in the food court and less suspicious people hanging around.
Edit: I just went here the other day and because of the experience my rating goes down one star. I got Taco Bell in the Food Court, I went to find a table to sit at and almost ALL of them are dirty. I had to just pick the one that was the least dirty as I could not spot one that was completely clean. A couple minutes later I headed to the bathroom and discovered that all of the sinks were broken. There were at least 4 of them and they were the ones where you just stick your hands under them and they turn on. Well, they did NOT turn on. So I had to wash my hands at home instead. And finally. I really like the designs of the hallways such as the one leading from the Food Court to Flix Brewhouse, the one leading to Dick’s Sporting Goods, the one leading from the play area to the area outside JC Penny, and the one going from where Boston Store used to be to Sears. I like the design because of all the skylights they have which makes it nice and bright. However, there are some spots that don’t have skylights, and not enough man-made lights to make up for it. So those spots are EXTREMELY dark. So dark to the point were it looks like and abandoned mall until you see all the bright stores next to it. Those spots include, outside JC Penny, the play area, and the hallway leading to were Boston Store used to be. It just makes those spots seem really dark and depressing and would be nice if there was some more lighting there. West Towne mall is lit...
Read moreThis place is way too expensive for what you get. All of the food places are overpriced, or are crappy food like McDonalds or Taco Bell. It's kind of a ghetto place, with bums and homeless that come and hang out especially during the winter time because it's warm and there and it's free to just hang out there. It's kind of a run down place, no matter how much they try to remodel it. Stores don't survive long, or the rent is too high for them to survive and they don't get enough business because the customers are too poor to pay the high prices. A lot of customers are stealing too and that's not helping businesses. The Saturday before the last Christmas there was a shooting there. And last summer there was a protest there, where people were marching around and laying down in the food court.
The west towne mall is much better, and has a better play area for the kids, has a better selection of food places at the food court and the people that go there are not all poor/ghetto kind of people. It's not surprising though, since everything on the west side is usually better than the east side. Better paying jobs, better selection of places to live, it comes as so surprise more businesses move to the west side. I hope to move to the westside...
Read moreEveryone who says this mall is dead has never been to Sheboygan. And everyone who says this mall has barely any options is likely the big city transplants whove only gone to Schaumburg or Gurnee or Mayfair or Southridge which are way bigger. Its a smaller mall, this is what you are gonna get. Sure the part from Boston Store west is pretty dead (only Champs and another thing still operates in that wing), but other than that, its doin pretty good, especially for a mall that lost 3 anchors (mostly on one part of the building). Theres still a lot here (though theyve had to combine store spaces for certain projects. Never had any issues coming here. Nothing compared to the old Memorial Mall in Sheboygan (where there was close to nothing), and Id see this stick around as long as theres stores operating and people coming, even well into the...
