Went here today with my 13 year old son. This was his 1st vinyl album that he's purchased. It's really awesome to now have my 2nd son who's 10 years younger than his brother and also be into 80s music and now vinyl. The staff is very kind and helpful. The business itself is really good size inside. They have a endless amount of 70's,80's and 90's music equipment. It's a bit cluttered... but with the amount of equipment and product they have I don't see a way to be any more organized than how they have it. I'd recommend when going in to talk to the staff. If they have what u are looking for they'll know where to fund it. And that'll save u time also. We also got a card for a sale that's happening this Saturday for 5 free records from the side walk sale. It's nice to see these kind of stores still being available and hope they're successful. There's so much history to music that should be shared. Where today everything is just digitally downloaded and u call it day. Where 8-tracks, records, cassettes have such a different feel to them. For my son he loved opening the record and seeing how the holder opened up to a full size picture.... and how the sleeve had pictures and all the words to each song. Over all its a great store and...
Read moreThis record store in Manchester NH is FANTASTIC! I am a disabled individual who requires a mobility device, and while there is not a lot of space to navigate the store, the young gentleman who works there was absolutely more than happy to help me find everything that I was looking for, which, if what you want is vinyl, odds are, they'll have it! Literally THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS! I have never seen such a selection of records even in vinyl's heyday back in the 70's! Lots of electronics too! Someday, I would love to buy some speakers off these guy's! I did not get to see the owner today, but I heard him as his young employee spoke with him. He was once interviewed for YouTube, which y'all should check out! This is ABSOLUTELY sure: I WILL go back to Music Connection next month to spend more of my retirement income. The prices, quality and selection are enough to recommend it but it's the kind and fantastic customer CAREING, not service, that will keep me...
Read moreThis place is fantastic. The owner, John, is a knowledgeable and delightful man who has a passion for what he does. There is a great selection of records and CDs, and although the bulk of the tape collection has been done away with, there is still a great selection of those. The used audio equipment is very good and the repairs are free in case there is something wrong. A year ago today I would have left a four star review instead, because it used to be overcrowded. While I found the stacks of records and other equipment quite charming, many of my friends that I brought were dissuaded by it. Now they have reorganized the entire store so that you can walk around comfortably searching for your music! There is also this beautiful old jukebox that you can see into as it moves the records it plays around, with a new selection every time thanks to John's awesome music taste. This is my favorite music place to go to, and I always stop there when we go...
