Salon Vivace and The Lofts — Attraction in Mansfield

I am leaving an honest review and it will be quite long. For context I started going to this salon as my hair stylist Brooklyn , who is absolutely amazing and is a genuine nice person and this review is not about her, had moved her from a salon she worked at prior. I was going to a different nail salon in town during this time. I chose ,after a lot of research, to start getting my nails done at this salon and chose Jade as my stylist as I stalked her instagram page and was impressed with her work. Now with Jade and a lot of the other stylist there they use luminary nails which is something I was new to being I use to only do acrylic. Also this review is not about jade either to be frank it is not to bash any of the stylist. My first set with Jade went absolutely amazing and she designed my nails so beautifully the only issue I had was I got a small chip on one nail which Jade got me in to fix at no charge. I quickly set up my next appointment which was on a Friday before I went was leaving for vacation. As it came closer to my appointment things came up and I now had to leave for my vacation earlier then expected. I reached out to Jade to see if she could get me in prior to my appointment but due to my schedule only being available after 6 it was not able to happen. Jade was kind and sweet enough to suggest I go to another girl in the salon (who I will not name as I do not want people hating on this stylist as she tried her best and actually practiced the design I wanted) I was able to get in two days before I left for vacation and sent $60 for my set plus a tip. The day came for me to go on my vacation which I was extremely excited for because I have never been on a trip before. And on my very first day I had two nails come off. Sad because I didn’t want to have two missing nails I went to a salon in the town I was on vacation in and had them fix with acrylic and spent $20 there. Then the following days of my trip which I was there for a week one after the other my nails had come off completely. I reached out to salon to attempt to get some sort of compensation for this and the conversation is listed in the photos before. They wanted me to come in to see a stylist to examine my nail beds and unfortunately due to illness had to cancel. I came here for a very specific haircut. Short in the back, deep angle going from the back to the front. Very few layers. This Erica girl, cut my hair like a bob. I went back in to have someone else fix it. The whole time, the stylist kept saying how the haircut was very close to what I asked for. 5 inches to short isn't close. It still didn't look right. So I decided to go get it fixed... Again. This stylist didn't understand what she was trying to do with my hair. One side had so many layers, she couldn't do anything with it but to let it grow. I've been going to this salon for years now since it's opened in Mansfield. I've never asked for anything dramatic, just a trim and I only go once a year so I'm not a dedicated customer or anything but after this, I won't be going...

This was my first ever professional hair styling. I cannot for the life of me remember my stylists name (started with an La-, she’s not listed as a stylist online :( ), but she was absolutely amazing! I walked in with a walk of shame because I knew how bad my hair was. I needed a re-coloring and a dye job and she wasn’t phased! She was like “let’s do this!”. I felt so ugly for weeks because of my uneven dye fade and she made me feel beautiful by the time I left! My stylist was friendly, but the entire staff was as well! They saw me walk in and were so excited to see the final product that they kept tabs on me whenever they could! The environment was so cute, and the price I was given at the end surprised me because I thought it would be more expensive for the transformation they gave me! I definitely anticipate coming back...
