Being that I am the only driver in the family, and only because my wife chooses to shop at Kohl's is why I find myself here. Regrettably I went tonight by myself for what I thought was a priced right Christmas gift. This was again proven to be a huge mistake!! Whereas there were a couple of associates that did provide cheerful direction, the duration of the visit was nothing short chaos. After spending 10 minutes at the men's cashiering area asking to see the store mgr., It was by mere happenstance that I ran into her on the way out after asking two associates on the way out for the corporate phone number. This was after being so frustrated and exasperated from what I should have foreseen based on earlier visits to this store and others for that matter. I do thank Mgr. Courtney for her patience with listening to the probably 7- minute diatribe expressed, yet am not convinced that she really cared, as again she listened yet never once mentioned that she would address my concerns. Truly I am a reasonable person having been on the other side of customer service work, and where the last thing I want to do is frame this as a generational problem, one has to limit themselves to incomprtence. Read moreI went to kohls Maple Grove because their website said they had an item. When I got there I was told since it wasn't in the store I should order it online as a pick up because that is where I can get it. So I did. Kohls took the online order and charged me ( the charge payment is pending I suppose until item actually received). I see the record at my bank. It was to be a 2 hr pick up. Well it's almost 24 hrs and no word from Kohls on order status. They are to send text and email alerts. I asked at store and they were no help other than to say it's very busy. So I can't get a live person in chat or on phone without long hold times . But when I called I do get an automated message they can't locate my order. Yet I was sent an email that my order was received and given an order #. Plus I have a pending charge. No where on their website did I see there would be long delays in the promised 2 hr pick up. This feels like a chaotic retail experience!!!! And nowhere to get help without being on hold for too long. The price seemed very good with sale and discounts though. Read moreWow, never seen a staff not give a shit more. Came in to do a quick exchange and bought a few things. It was after 2pm on a Thursday so it was kind of quiet in the store. Went to check out and there was only 2 cashiers there. Both seemed like they were trying to set someone up with either credit cards or just scanning coupons.But they were taking their sweet time, which is fine. However a line started forming and it kept getting bigger and nobody decided to call up any other cashiers. Finally a manager Is called up to help with one of the credit cards I assume. Can't tell if he noticed the giant line of people growing. But he takes his sweet time to help both cashiers and doesn't seem to be calling anyone up to help. And I could tell everyone in line was starting to get extremely frustrated. I felt bad for the people behind me.Because I got to be third in line before it started to back up.
