Ashley — Local services in Maple Grove

DO NOT buy from Ashley!! My wife and I were expecting a baby and went shopping for a recliner/ glider. We probably went to 10 different stores. We settled for the leather type material rocker/glider from Ashley as it seemed to be very sturdy! (Seemed....). It was definitely out of our price range but we went with it anyways as it was all mechanical and no electronic components and they offered what we thought was the best warranty!!. After we had our baby, the chair was now being used everyday! Until 2 months of use and it started squeaking very bad while rocking and would wake up the baby and make for a very long night....we had purchased the extra warranty that supposedly would even cover a dog chewing the thing apart!! BUT when I called they said that squeaks are normal and wouldn't be covered and to try using a white lithium grease to see if that helped...it did! For 30 min....we would spray the frame pivot points everytime before rocking after that until the spraying didn't help anymore...so I called again and they still told is it is not covered under warranty. So I took the bottom of chair swivel plate off and found that the frame was sooooo bent it was rubbing metal on metal!! I called AGAIN and told them what i had found and she said ok let me transfer you but since you have tried to fix it yourself this may have voided the warranty...WHAT????? But my dog chewing the thing apart wouldn't have???? She said she transfered me but instead just HUNGUP!! Terrible customer service!! And obviously they do not stand by their products OR warranty for a malfunctioning product.....leason learned and I tell everyone I know who asks us about our baby and rocking chair to NOT buy from Ashley!! Gotta shout out our incredible salesman Victor-without him, we would still be on our seemingly impossible quest to find the world’s softest mattress. Not only did we find that, but Victor also helped us find the perfect headboard/storage platform. AND THE PILLOWS. Don’t get me started on the PILLOWS! I’ve been with my partner for many years and he has been on a quixotic quest to find the perfect pillow. And we have purchased SO MANY PILLOWS. They were either too thick or thin, too hard or too soft. I had given up hope of ever finding the perfect pillow; didn’t believe they existed. However, Victor had my partner try three different options and I feel we may have found it. The holy grail of pillows. They truly listened to all of our concerns and helped us find the perfect living room furniture, as well as mattresses for three of our bedrooms.

What really stood out to us was their genuine approach. At no point did they try to oversell or push products on us. Instead, they provided thoughtful recommendations and guided us through the process with professionalism and care.
