Goodwill - Retail Store and Donation Center — Attraction in Maricopa

As I was standing in line there was someone in front of me who had a lot of items so as I waited I was looking at my phone and I kept hearing this clicking noise and as I looked up the cashier was clicking the button on the scanner gun I guess that was his way of telling me to move up so I told him I know you're not clicking that at me right to tell me to move up when you could have just let me know that you were ready. He just laughed and said no I was just clicking it like this and starts doing a shooting motion at me. This has to be the most unprofessional and most ignorant interaction I've had at a Goodwill ever. I went up to the counter with a couple of pairs of shoes one of them was a pair of Adidas I believe the price tag was about $4.79 and then there was a pair of Filas that had no price tag on them. So this cashier could not fix the issue himself he looked on the bottom of the shoe and said it looked like he saw the letter s on their and when I asked what that meant he said that means $8. I asked him to get a manager for clarity when he got this lady standing in the background who was supposed to be the manager there she said it looked like an e and the emet $9. She also had the cashier scan the tag and it gave a whole different price. I don't know how that happened or what they are doing over there but this is unprofessional and downright crazy. When I asked about that and what was going on the manager asked me which of these items we are getting including my friend in the conversation which she has nothing to do with because she had her own items to buy. Not to mention she was rushing us and telling us that they will be close soon when we had around 20 minutes left. Then this manager ripped the tag out of the shoe so now the Adidas also had no price and starts arguing with me over whether I want them at the price that she's going to price it at or not without even telling me what that price was. Then she finally charged me a little over $7. I told her that she was very unprofessional and I will be putting this in my review. Once once I read all the other reviews here I realized why the cashier and the manager don't care about that because Goodwill is not living up to its responsibility and being accountable for any of these reviews where is corporate management in any of this all of the customers here including myself have said that the store is changing prices there are many items with no prices on it and that this manager is very rude not to mention she is encouraging the employee to be very rude. The worst Goodwill in maricopa and there store like a junk yard this is ridiculous and the prices are highway robbery. No more shopping at Goodwill for me. I went there and saw a very small used candle i wanted it was used. It didn't have a tag on it and when I ask the cashier she ask the manager who guessed a price of $3.49 yall i thought i was hearing things i thought maybe she said $1.49 so I asked her what price you say and she said 3:49 I was like mam please its used and it's been used can you do a dollar or something. Manager says it's policy even after she looked at it and said eww oh yeah then $3 49 then I asked again and she quoted $2:49 she was making up prices 🙄 and before she wouldnt let go of the price she said oh we have to go by the ounces of the candle wax i never in my life heard of that. Never I will never ever shop at this Goodwill ever again or donate I wouldn't recommend them if they had low prices The CEO should be ashame of himself or herself this stuff was donated to you and you want to charge outrageous prices shame on you taking money from the poor man or woman pocket. I use to love goodwill bit goodwill name should be change to money maker because that's what there doing. UPDATE: June 1, 2024 The customer service is horrible. These new women managers are HORRIBLE. Theresa in the picture is the rudest manager this Goodwill has had. Thank God Andrew and Valerie are gone along with some others. The prices are so outrageous I choose not to go anymore nor give ANY of my donations to GW. The think-over pricing is for the bonus to hit quicker. I've NEVER seen this store look so bad. Extremely disorganized and the furniture sits for weeks to months for the high prices. We now have higher prices and bad service🤦🏾‍♀️ and a dirty store.

Over Priced... THIS PLACE IS GETTING WORSE BY THE DAY. Also, the dressing rooms are still CLOSED DOWN in 2023. It was due to covid three years ago; what's the reason now?
