Martinez Farmers' Market — Attraction in Martinez

My wife and I finally found this place after living in Martinez for over 2 years. Granted COVID happened but this is a gem if you're close by. It's always great to support local farmers and to taste foods you don't usually come across because of all the other options you pass by when driving.

Eating musts: empanadas and the tamales! Also the salsa from the tamales vendor is tasty af.

Produce: it's great to see fresh veggies that look so healthy. My wife and I use this time to get inspired on what dishes we should make for the week. On most occasions it gets us to make a brand new dish we've never had.

Nice small town, that host Farmer's Market (FM) every Sunday starts at 10 am, and closes at 2 pm. City parking in a walking distance to the FM available free on Sunday. Not many food stalls. Always a great time at the farmers market. There’s always live music. Most of the fresh produce/fruit stands offer samples of the sweetest in season fruits.
